Foods Which Have Vitamin B17 Called Laetrile or Amygdalin

Can Vitamin B17, also known as Laetrile or Amygdalin, help fight and prevent cancer?  Listed below this wee article are some of the common foods which contain Laetrile, also called Vitamin B17, or Amygdalin.

Jason Vale is about to fight a court case in America which could change the FDA’s stance on Vitamin B17 if he wins.  If he wins, then the drug companies might be exposed for dishonestly promoting drugs which they know are  not as effective as some natural vitamins such as Vitamin B17,  in preventing or curing diseases such as cancer.

Jason Vale has been stopped  in his promotion of Vitamin B17 from apricot kernels for the treatment of cancer.  He was arrested. This action was taken by the FBI for the FDA, the ‘Food and Drug Administration’ of America, which exists primarily to protect the interests of the drug companies.

Essentially, the FDA is ‘up in arms’ against Jason, because he has been advising people on his web-site about his alternative cure which worked for him to cure his cancer.  Jason agreed to stop selling Laetrile online, and has been careful not to mention the word.  However, somebody asked him if he knew who might be able to provide the apricot seeds which contain laetrile Vitamin B17.  He gave the caller a phone number.  This action resulted in the FDA charging Jason Vale for promoting apricot kernels after he had been warned not to do so.  Jason thinks that the FDA were out to trap him somehow, to get his website shut down so that he could not promote his natural treatments anymore.

Jason is a Christian man who has a huge following, and a large support base from his Christian fellows.  They are about to fight the case brought against Jason by the FDA with evidence they say proves that the FDA and the pharmaceutical companies have been hiding the truth from the public for decades.  They claim that Vitamin B17 is known to inhibit cancers, and that the pharmaceutical companies have the proof, yet they are still trying to ‘find a cure for cancer’, as this means more money for the drug companies.

Basically, there is no money in having well people about, so drug companies prefer it if we are sick and dependent upon their drugs.  This is the reason why these big companies hate us having natural supplements and alternative therapies available to us – Anything which helps to keep us well means less money for the drug companies.

Jason Vale had terminal cancer.  After he had undergone orthodox treatment for his cancer, the doctors declared that they could do no more for him.  So Jason Vale adopted a natural approach, as a last resort to try and save his life.  Jason succeeded, and has gone on to help many people with their incurable cancers.

Jason Vale cured himself with prayer and by following a special diet which included using plenty of fresh juices, and Vitamin B17, or Laetrile.

Apricot Kernels  have the highest amount of Vitamin B17, also called Laetrile or Amygdalin.  But there are other foods which naturally contain Vitamin B17, or Laetrile.

Laetrile has been used by various naturopathic practitioners over the years to treat cancer and other degenerative diseases.

Dr Max Gerson, and other alternative therapists, have been using Vitamin B17, found in many nuts and seeds , in their treatments at least since the 1950’s.  Of course, the cures these therapists effected were not attributed to Vitamin B17 alone, as intensive detoxing measures were as an important part of the treatment as was nutritional therapy.

Dr Edward Wagner and his Australian co-writer Sylvia Goldfarb recommend the use of Laetrile, Vitamin B17 for use in controlling the pain from cancer.  They tell us in their book ‘How To Stay Out Of The Doctor’s Office’, An Encyclopedia For Alternative Healing’, that Laetrile has the power to destroy the cancer virus ‘after its shell has been absorbed’.  They do not claim that Laetrile will actually cure a cancer,  however, they do say that it can stop a cancer from spreading..

The Australian Russell Setright mentions Vitamin B17 (Laetrile) in his book ‘An A-Z of Natural Medicine for Everyday Illness’.  He says that Vitamin B17 ‘may lead to diminishing resistance to cancer’.

I used apricot kernels myself, to help reduce a breast lump.  I did not have a biopsy, but decided to adopt a natural approach instead of following orthodox treatment.  I figured that if this approach could potentially fix a cancer, as Dr Gerson maintained, then it would work for a lesser complaint, such as a cyst.  It did –  after three months of following an adapted Gerson approach, the lump went away.  My dietary and cleansing regime included taking several apricot kernels per day – beginning with about 3 per day and building up to no more than 9. I found after getting up to 9, that I felt better with a reduced dose, so ended up taking about 6 per day.  Even this amount could be a bit much for some people – however, if you are taking the castor oil, and using enemas, then the toxic effects of  the kernels is reduced dramatically.  I also used raw foods and juices,  2 raw egg y0lks per day, two tablespoons of castor oil every 2nd day, and several enemas daily.

Jacqui Davison is another person who recovered from cancer using an adapted Gerson approach. She had been given up by the doctors, after undergoing orthodox treatment for melanoma which was thought to kill her within weeks.   I cannot recall whether or not she used Laetrile, or Vitamin B17 from apricot kernels, but she did use the castor oil and enemas to detoxify the body quickly.  She recovered fully, and even regrew her tooth enamel.  Her hair was restored to its natural colour and original thickness.  Her ‘cure’ took a year, although she stayed on the diet for two years to rebuild her immune system and to help prevent a recurrence of the cancer.

Foods Which Have Vitamin B17 Called Laetrile or Amygdalin

Warning:  You need to get advice from a naturopath if you are considering taking any kernels for the purpose of upping your Vitamin B17 intake.  All these seeds contain cyanide, which is thought to be also helpful in combination with the vitamin content. However, you can overdose on cyanide, even through eating the kernels of fruits.  So be careful.  No more than around 3 apricot kernels per day, and no more than around 5 apple seeds per day would be a safe minimum dose for most people.  Alternatively, you could eat no more than 6 almonds per day for a regular dose of Vitamin B17.

Eating stone fruits, even if you do not use the seed, will still give you some Vitamin B17.

Apricot kernels are the richest source.

Almonds are another good source.

Apple pips contain Vitamin B17 (Laetrile)

Avocado contain some Vitamin B17

Grape seeds are high in Vitamin B17.  Grapes from fruit which have seeds will have some Vitamin B17

Mushrooms are very high in Vitamin B17

Nectarine seeds contain Vitamin B17

Plum pips contain Vitamin B17

Peach seeds contain Vitamin B17

Quince seeds contain Vitamin B17

I was under the impression that:  Orange, lemons and other citrus fruits  also contain Vitamin B17 in their seeds.  But a comment has come through from a reader who says that CITRUS DO NOT CONTAIN VITAMIN B17

The seeds of all these fruits above, excepting probably for Citrus, are very high in Laetrile, or Vitamin B17.   The seeds are a great source of pectin, another healthful compound,  which helps to set jam.  Eating  any of these fruits will give you some of the benefits of Vitamin B17.

Prayer And Apricot Kernels Have The Power To Heal

Jason Vale Cured Himself of Cancer Through Prayer and Apricol Kernels

DSCO 1769

Jason Vale was ‘given up for dead’ by the medical authorities, with ASKINS tumours and renal cancer which they believed would kill him.  However, Jason did not die, but began praying in earnest, with the help of his Church.

He also changed his diet, using Vitamin B17 rich  apricot kernels and plenty of fresh juices.  Jason healed himself completely of his cancer, through Prayer and naturopathic treatment.  Now, Jason is about to be tried by the FDA for promoting the use of apricot kernels on his website.  This is basically because the pharmaceutical companies do not want the news about Vitamin B17, called Laetrile, or Amygdalin, let out, because Laetrile is a direct threat to their drug empires which promotes the use of  their very costly chemicals and radiation for the treatment of cancer.  If you can get well without using their drugs, then the drug empires will loose out on their profit.

Of course, it must be remembered that apricot kernels should be taken in moderation, as they contain cyanide, which can poison you to death, if you were to take enough.  But so can carrots kill you, if you eat too many for too long.  I have used apricot kernels myself, as part of a special detox diet to cure a breast lump.  The recommended dose was between 3 and no more than 9 apricot kernels per day, starting off with just 2 or 3 kernels for the first week or so.  I did get up to around 9, but felt better when the dose was lower than this.  By the time I had reached the maximum, and begun to lower it again, the breast lump had reduced by half.

Drug companies, through the FDA, have been exerting their power to have all naturopathic, homeopathic, and other alternative treatments ousted from the public domain, so that their pharmaceuticals reign supreme.  They pick on Apricot kernels to have them banned, yet their harmful drugs such as Fosamax, which can cause paralysis of the jaw bone, femur fractures,  vomitting, and so on, is still dished out every week by thoughtless doctors.  Even when a patient is dying, the drug companies, through the FDA, will do all they can to stop him from trying alternative treatments, such as megadoses of Vitamin C, or Laetrile used with a cleansing diet, as a last resort to get well.  Why?  They do not want him to become well on these alternative treatments, because his becoming well might discredit their pharmaceutical treatments which did not work to effect a cure.

Jason Vale’s supporters are hopeful that they will win his case.   They claim that  pharmaceutical companies, and the FDA, have known for many years that a deficiency of Laetrile, Vitamin B17, causes cancer.   Tumours can be incited to grow if there is a deficiency of this Vitamin B17, which is found in apricot kernels and other nuts and seeds.  Laetrile  or Vitamin B17 was used in the Gerson therapy for cancer in the 1950’s, by Dr Anne Wigmore in the 1970’s, and by many people who use dietary and cleansing procedures for reversing cancer.  Dr Max Gerson, who healed thousands of people suffering from cancer and other serious diseases, was driven out of Americal by the FDA, with the help, no doubt, of the FBI. ‘Federal’ is the operative word.

Pray that Jason Vale’s team will beat the FDA and the pharmaceutical companies.

Today is Tuesday 14th February, 2012.  There are so many unpleasant and very worrying things happening in the world right now.   Jason Vale’s case is just one of them.  The big corporations are driving to have our democratic rights weakened, one way or another.  Kim.com gets arrested in New Zealand because of a Hollywood-driven campaign against him,  and all his belongings and money get swiped before he has even been proved to be a criminal. Julian Assange is put away because he told the truth about American war crimes and other military ‘secrets’.

Pharmaceutical companies have the monopoly on medicine, and are out to discredit and illegalize many alternatives to allopathic medicine, such as homeopathy.  The pharmaceutical companies, through the powers of the FDA, are driving to have websites such as Jason Vale’s taken down, because of the threat these alternative medicine sites pose to the drug companies.   Laws are about to change in NZ and all over the world which will stop us from circulating home grown vegetable seeds, so that we have to buy every seed we need from the big seed companies.  This will mean that the big corporations have the complete control of the food banks, if we are forced to become dependent on them for our fruit and vegetable seeds.

New Zealand’s land, hydro electric power companies, water rights, and other valuable assets, are being sold off before we even get told that these public assets have been put on the market.

Poverty reigns in Nigeria, which is the biggest exporter of crude oil of any country in the world.  This should be one of the richest nations, with all the wealth created from the oil.  But Nigeria is among the poorest of  nations in the world, with many children starving to death each day.

All over the world, big business interests are taking precedence over the needs of the community and the common people.  Protests against corporate greed are mounting, yet still, governments of the world, and the big corporations which drive these governments, are not listening.

In the election, we vote against the party which is promoting all these actions with potentially disastrous consequences, yet somehow our votes just lose out, because of clever publicity tactics done at the last minute by the ruling party, and strategies which will see their policies rule, despite the majority of people being against them.

So – what to do?  There are too many important things to write about.  The condition of the world, and the dwindling power that we have to change anything, seems so incredibly depressing, that many people have simply given up the fight.  It seems pointless to fight, because ‘they’ will win anyway, by hook or by crook.

Jason Vale prayed for healing.  And this is what we must all do now, to pray for the healing of the world.  We must pray for honesty and fairness and compassion in our own hearts, and in the hearts of those who rule the wealth of the world, and especially for healing in the hearts and minds of the pharmaceutical company leaders,  who hide their knowledge, and often promote harmful drugs, and agricultural chemicals which make people sick.  These big corporations, in pharmaceuticals, in the entertainment industry, in agriculture, are working to have our democratic rights, including the power of free speech and lifestyle choice, eroded.

The FDA might succeed, again, in keeping healing knowledge from the public, so that apricot kernels and their laetrile remain banned.  But they cannot take away the power of prayer.  Whatever they do to us, we always have the capacity and the power to pray.

Pray. Pray. Pray for Peace.  Pray that greed and injustice done at the top of our so-called civilization, will be eliminated, so that all people have equal opportunity.  So that the wealth of the world is shared.  So that no one country will dominate over another to the disadvantage of a weaker country.  Pray for love in our hearts which will extend to the hardest of  hearts.  Pray that these hard hearts which see money and profit as their god, be softened and enlightened to the right way.

Charity begins at home.  Let’s really try hard to love our neighbours, and to help where we can.

Peace. Love. Charity. Be in my heart today, and in everything I do.

Karuna Devi.

Herbalists And Homeopaths Can Develop Sensitivity To Their Own Potions

Did you know that Bee Keepers often develop allergies to their own bees, to their stings, and to the pollen that they carry?   This can happen after many, many years of  working as a bee-keeper.  Suddenly, one day, an allergic reaction can be experienced from a sting, when it has never happened before.  This usually results in the bee-keeper, who has suddenly become allergic to his own bees, having to give up being a bee-keeper.

The same type of sensitivity can develop in people who are constantly handling Homeopathic remedies, or Herbal medicines. It is an occupational hazard, that Homeopaths and Herbalists can become sensitive to their own remedies.  People who make these things at home need to be cautious.

The thing is that when you put  herbs or spices of any kind into a medium such as water, or alcohol, vinegar, or oil, their potency is increased  by a phenomenal amount.  A handful, or even a basketful of fresh herbs, may not present too much of a problem to most people.  But the minute that you put these herbs into alcohol, or any other medium, then the strength of the potion will become far greater than the original sum of the parts.  This means that you should avoid  storing, or making and leaving these herbal potions  to ferment, or to infuse, in places such as on the kitchen table, or in your bedroom, or any place where you spend several hours a day.  Even storing them in a room  near your bedroom will cause your health to be affected, for better or for worse, especially if you are keeping a quantity of different remedies.  The more remedies that you store, and the greater the quantities, the more intense will their effect be.  An enormous range of  unexpected symptoms could result from the synergistic effect of combining these energies.

Unfortunately, although I still use Homeopathy occasionally, or help people to find an appropriate remedy for their complaints, I cannot work as a professional Homeopath, because of the sensitivity I have to these remedies. I feel the specific effect of many remedies without even having to touch them, or swallow them.  Just having a bottle of a preparation nearby is enough for many sensitive  people, to  experience the desired effect from either a Homeopathic or a Herbal remedy. The converse applies – that you could experience an UNdesired effect from keeping a remedy nearby.

I could never be a professional herbalist who makes up specific remedies for people,  as part of the daily routine, for this reason, because I would be dosing myself with many different herbs or remedies, without having a need for them.  The same sensitivity is evident when I am exposed to chemicals such as toxic herbacides, or pesticides, and various household chemicals which most people spray around with gay abandon.  A whiff of these type of chemicals brings about definite changes in my emotional and physical state which can often be very distressing.

Blow those Doctors and critics of Homeopathy, who say that Homeopathic remedies are useless, because there is nothing in them.  These people believe that  ‘there is nothing in Homeopathic Medicines’ which can do anything at all to help in an illness.  My own experience has proven, apart from the fact that Homeopathy has often cured illnesses in our family, as has Herbal medicine, that Herbal or Homeopathic remedies which are stored, or prepared, in our much used spaces, such as kitchens, can actually CAUSE sickness.   Homeopathic preparations, or herbal ones, have an incredible power to cause physiological changes in the body, for better of worse.  And this is why you need to be cautious about making or storing these remedies.

Of course, there is nothing wrong in keeping a few of the Homeopathic First Aid Remedies, such as Arnica, Thuja, Aconite, Belladonna, Ledum, or Pulsatilla.  But it is best to keep this small collection together, away in the bath-rom cupboard, and not in your bedroom.  And it is best not to have large quantities of any one remedy, or too many different ones kept together.

The same goes, of course, to pharmaceutical preparations.  Your health could be affected by pharmaceutical drugs, or household chemicals such as insect killers and weedkillers which are stored anywhere in your house.  Even if you are not sensitive, these things will affect your metabolism and your emotions.  Of course, using these chemicals is not good for your health or the environmnent.  But even storing these things in your house is not a good practice, because you will be affected by the vibration of the chemical.  Ill health could be caused by keeping these things in your laundry, kitchen or bathroom, even if you don’t use them.

Homeopathy Articles In NZ Sunday Star Times Ill-Informed By Ignorant Doctors

‘Kiwis Big Believers in Homeopathy’ reads the head-line of the Sunday Star Times. January 22nd, 2012.

But Homeopathy Has Been Proven.  It is not just a belief.  I will explain further on, how Homeopathy has been subjected to suppressive laws which have meant that research findings are not published in regular medical journals.

DSCO 1556

Many medical doctors use Homeopathy in their practices in New Zealand, yet one NZ doctor has been trying to get doctors banned from using Homeopathy. This is the doctor who the Sunday Star Times quote in the first of two articles on Homeopathy.  Both these articles attempt to discredit Homeopathy.  The  doctor quoted in the first article, Shaun Holt, has stated in other newspaper articles, that the reason that Homeopathy works for some people, is because of a placebo effect, and not because the chosen Homeopathic remedy has any innate power to reverse certain conditions.

But his point of view simply shows his ignorance, as does the view of the university researcher who derides Homeopathy in the second article.

In these two separate articles on Homeopathy which appear on the same page, The Sunday Star Times has come out on the side of two medical people, one a doctor, the other a university researcher, who,  in the second article, objects to the use of Homeopathic principles in a flea collar for pets.  Both these medical people  illustrate their ignorance about how Homeopathy works, and  are obviouslyignorant about the many thousands of success stories which Homeopathic science can claim.  Both these articles  in the Sunday Star Times appear at first glance to be giving Homeopathy a ‘fair go’, but on reading further, one discovers that they damn Homeopathy with faint praise.

The first article reads:  ‘Kiwis big believers in homeopathy’ –  as if homeopathy is only a placebo, something which the patient believes will help him, without there being any physiological effect from taking a Homeopathic medicine.  This, of course, is what Shaun Holt would have us believe. He has stated in previous articles that he thinks Homeopathy is ‘quackery’ and that, in the cases where it has worked, it is only because the patient has believed that it will help him.  He is one who promotes pharmacuetical drugs above all other treatments, and would,  if he could, make sure that all alternatives are banned.  Only last year, an article was published in a NZ paper which quoted Shaun Holt as saying that he thought doctors should be prohibited from using Homeopathy in their clinics.

You can bet your bottom dollar that neither Dr Shaun Holt, nor the university researcher who is quoted on the same page, will have tried a  professional Homeopathic treatment for any ailment, and nor will they have watched the progress of a patient who has been successfully treated by an experienced Homeopath over the course of an illness.  These are ‘book learned’ people who really have NO  idea what they are talking about when it comes to the effectiveness of  Homeopathy.

One has to wonder what the pay-off is for these two medical people, if any, from pharmaceutical companies behind the scenes.  Perhaps their ‘research’ is funded by the pharmaceutical companies.  This is how the big drug companies maintain their control of the health scene.  They  manage to get herbs banned, and Homeopathy and other alternative medicines discredited, through paying doctors and certain researchers  to say what they want them to say.

Some doctors are as corrupt as some people  are in any walk of life, and will take on a fight which they know is amoral just to get at the money.  Others may take on the fight unwittingly, because they are nit-wits, and not very intelligent, except that they once had the ability to learn their craft by rote, to pass their exams.  This type of doctor lacks the ability for real,  unbiased, critical analysis, and they are easily influenced by drug companies who indoctrinate them with the results of their research, which is always designed to make the pharmaceutical product look good, even when it turns out to be extremely harmful and damaging to people’s health.

Time and Time Again,  Homeopathy has cured infectious diseases, and been of great benefit to people with ailing health.  Homeopathy does not have the risk of negative side effects which pharmaceutical drugs do.  The very fact that Homeopathy is a safer alternative to drugs drives the drug companies, and many doctors, to distraction in their attempts to find fault with it.

People like Dr Shaun Holt, who are agin Homeopathic medicine, are forever coming up with the argument that ‘Homeopathy has not been proven’, but this is plain nonsense.

The reason that the value of homeopathy is kept silent, and the reason that ignorant people like Shaun Holt claim that ‘no papers have been written to validate the use of Homeopathy’, is because the drug companies in America made it illegal to publish any research on Homeopathy in medical journals, a long time ago. Homeopathy has a long history of suppression.  The result is, as these two latest articles in The Sunday Star Times illustrate, that the media generally are STILL perpetuating the myth that Homeopathy ‘does not have anything in it, and is just a belief, just quackery’.  The media is still working on the side of big business in opposing Homeopathy without allowing an expert in the field to have his say, and without divulging the results of research into Homeopathy.

Homeopathy is NOT quackery.  There are still reputable Homeopathic hospitals functioning in the UK today.  The Royal Homeopathic Hospital in London is one of them.

This movement to kill Homeopathy began after Homeopathy ‘took on’ in Europe.  The Royal family and their elite friends converted to Homeopathic medicine after its success was illustrated in Europe, when an epidemic of cholera  in the 1890’s was treated effectively with Homeopathic medicine.  Drug giants, who, in the early part of the 1900’s  were already beginning to exert their power and influence over the medical profession in the USA, and on the government via the FDA, began to vehemently oppose Homeopathic medicine, which they obviously saw as being a threat to their ever-growing empires.  A legislation was passed in the 1920’s which effectively silenced the researchers of Homeopathy, and those practitioners of the science.  This silencing of the Homeopathic fraternity occurred because the medical authorities decided that no research would be allowed to be published.

This has effectively kept the public from being properly informed about the efficacy of Homeopathy and how it works.  The effect of this censorship has been to keep Homeopathy under wraps and for it to be perceived by many as ‘quackery’.  All to the financial benefit of the pharmaceutical companies, of course.

These Sunday Star Times articles are following the patterns of old.  They discredit Homeopathy without making any attempt to explain the science of Homeopathy, and without using any of the learned articles by doctors which have been published in alternative health journals and books over the years.

The writers of these articles in last Sunday’s ‘Sunday Star Times’ are content to use the ill-informed judgement of ignorant people who portray  Homeopathy as a belief, no better than a quackery instead of a science, which only goes to serve the interests of the pharmaceutical companies yet again.

Dangers Of Pharmaceutical Drug Fosamax

Osteocrenosis of the Jaw and Other Negative Side Effects Of Fosamax:  The drug Fosamax, alendronate sodium,  is given to people ostensibly to strengthen the bones. It is classed as a ‘bisphosphonate’ drug, and it was approved as a bone treatment  by the American Food Drug Administration Board, in 1995.

DSCO 1792

Other brand names of the same type-drug,  alendronate sodium are:  Avedia, Actonel, and Zometa.

In 2004, after many people had reported side effects from taking this drug, and, I think, the manufacterers had been taken to court,  the manufacturers, Merck & Co., were requested by the FDA to include written warnings about the drug on the medication packet.  So far, Merck & Co have proceeded to warn the medical profession about the adverse  side effects of Fosamax, but not the patient.

Some of this information reported on this page is from a web-site  “Fosamax Lawsuit Information Centre”.  These people offer a free case review, should you be already considering filing a law-suit against the makers of Fosamax and similar drugs, because of ill health caused by taking these drugs.

People with osteoporosis, including post-menopausal and steroid-inducing osteoporosis, or cancer, or Paget’s disease, are often prescribed this drug, because it can increase bone mass and reduce the leaching of calcium from the bones.  But this practice should be questioned, as the chemical ingredients in Fosamax are foreign to the body and are not a natural part of bone formation. The resulting bone mass will be inferior to that which is built up by taking good food and appropriate nutritional supplements.  And, although it may help to strengthen the bones for a time,  there is a stong possibility that the drug Fosamax may severely impair your health.

Actually, it often has just the reverse of the bone-enhancing effects it is supposed to.  Femur fractures are common with people who take the drug Fosamax, and this goes to show that Fosamax actually weakens the bones, rather than strengthening them.

I am writing this post, because a dear friend of mine has just been ‘put on’ this drug, after chipping a vertebrae as the result of a fall off a garden wall, whilst gardening, onto hard concrete  below.  But no other damage was suffered, and no bones broken, which all goes to show that his bones, at almost 89 years,  must be still good and strong and hard.  He should not need any drug such as Fosamax to strengthen his bones.  The chipped vertebrae came about because of the five-foot drop over the wall to the concrete below, not because his bones were weak.  If his bones were weak, then there would have been at least a broken wrist, or a leg, or some fracture, you would think. All he has damaged, albeit very painful, is a chip to a vertebrae. He is a lucky man not to have suffered more after this accident.

This friend has avoided taking medications all his life, which I think has attributed to his remarkable good health.   He still does manual work, as well as having an advisory role on a large orchard. He and his wife still  live in their  own house, where she still cooks him delicious and nutritious meals three times a day.  I really hope that he takes my warning about the dangers of taking Fosamax, else his excellent physical and mental  health be spoiled.

The one very serious condition which has been related to the drug Fosamax is Osteocrenosis of the jaw.  This can be a very painful and distressing condition which has led, in some cases, to the jaw having to be removed. This condition is often accompanied by anaemia, or lack of iron.

So it is probable that Fosamax disturbs the natural processing and retention of  several vital minerals in the body.  Iron is one mineral whose assimilation seems to be affected by Fosamax.  Some of the side effects reported below are classic symptoms of calcium and magnesium deficiency, which would strongly suggest that this drug upsets the absorption of calcium and magnesium.

There are many other side effects to the Fosamax drug, which will be listed below.

The natural nutritive supplements which feed the bones are far better to take than Fosamax.  The naturally occurring vitamins and minerals which feed the bones, such as magnesium, calcium and Vitamin C,  do not pose a danger to the health of the body, and will not cause the worrying and debilitating side effects which Fosamax often does. It is far better to eat calcium/magnesium rich food, with plenty of Vitamin C rich fruits, and take some extra bone-enhancing food supplements than to risk poisoning your body with Fosamax, or alendronate sodium.

Severe allergic reactions to Fosamax can be experienced by some people.  These reactions may be experienced soon after beginning a course of Fosamax, or they may develop later. The most worrying effect of taking Fosamax long-term is that it can cause, as mentioned before,  a type of paralysis of the jaw called osteonecrosis.  Over 3000 people have been recorded as having ostenecrosis since 2003.  In America, there are lawyers who specialize in Fosamax claims.  This should give you some idea about the very real risks in taking Fosamax, as there are already many people who have made claims against the manufacturers of Fosamax, because of ill health they have suffered as a consequence of taking Fosamax.

The following is a list of some of the symptoms which have been reported as having been caused by Fosamax, or similar drugs.  There will be many more than these:

Allergic Reactions such as Hives or Rashes

Back Pain

Bloating

Bone Pain

Constipation

Diarrhoea

Difficulty Breathing

Dizziness

Femur Fractures

Flu-like symptoms – fuggy head, runny nose, sore throat etc

Heartburn

Itchy flakey skin

Jaw swollen and/or painful

Joint Pain

Low Blood Calcium, which is characterized by muscle spasms, muscles cramps,   twitches, and sore joints.

Mouth Sores

Muscle pain

Numbness of feet or hands or fingers

Osteomyelitis

Osteonecrosis or paralysis of the jaw

Pain around the jaw

Passing black or bloody stools

Sore or swollen joints

Sore throat

Stomach Pain

Swollen joints or feet or hands

Swollen tongue or lips

Swelling of legs ankles or hands

Taste Affected

Tightness in the chest

Vomitting

Lives could be saved if, as well as Vitamin C treatment,  homeopathic medicine were at least given a try in some of these ‘incurable’ illnesses.  Let’s pray that the pharmaceutical companies loosen their strangulating hold on the medicine industry, and let Homeopaths prove the worth of their science.
