Babies Die In Samoa After Given MMR Vaccination July 2018

Vaccination Alert:

Two babies died in Samoa soon after being given the MMR vaccination on the 6th July, 2018.
The MMR vaccination is a combination for measles, mumps and rubella.
The first baby, a one year old girl, died within a minute after receiving the vaccination.
The second baby, a boy, also one year old, died within three minutes afterwards.
There are homeopathic alternatives to vaccination, and many natural remedies which are much safer than using standard vaccinations. Homeopathy and Vitamin C and A therapy will cause no harm and have no long-term side effects, but the medical industry is averse to using these alternatives, because the profit-based pharmaceutical industry dictates that doctors and hospitals must use their vaccines and other antibiotics.

With vaccines, you never know what exactly is in them, and you have only the manufacturer’s word, and the doctor’s assurance, that everything will be OK.
Parents who in every other way are good parents, who protect their children from harm, say goodbye to reason and will allow their infants and children to be injected with a foreign product, the contents of which they know nothing about, except for what they have been told by their doctors. That the vaccination could have long-term side effects such as obesity, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, cancer, or affect the brain and nervous system, causing learning difficulties, or even autism or death, does not seem to enter the minds of some even intelligent people.

Specific health problems which eventuate after vaccination are often hard to prove the cause, since manufacturers have a habit of changing their ingredients of vaccines and medications after a time. I believe this ploy is not simply because they believe they are bettering their product. There is no chain of evidence left to examine if the formulas are altered every few years.
Preservatives, such as mercury, have been used in many vaccinations, and are still used in some, to give the vaccination a longer life before it is used. These preservatives in themselves can be damaging to the health. Mercury is known to cause damage to the nervous system. The brain is an integral part of the nervous system and is very susceptible to damage by mercury. Thus, by continuing to use mercury in vaccinations, autism numbers will continue to rise, and so will cases of depression and mental illness. Even if mercury is removed from all vaccinations, you cannot be sure that the preservative they decide to use will be any safer than the mercury.

There is plenty of evidence to show that the younger the child is vaccinated, the more likely that damage will occur. There is also plenty of evidence which indicates that multiple vaccines are more likely to cause damage than a single vaccine given on its own. But still the medical industry insist on vaccinating babies, the younger the better, they say, and with multiple vaccinations, when they could easily administer single doses of a singular vaccine at a time. (I still would never put my child at risk, even with the single vaccine, but it is surely better than a multiple vaccination).
But even adults are prone to damage from vaccinations such as flu. I know of a lady who was hospitalized and put into intensive care within days after receiving a flu vaccination. The year before, she had had a shot without any adverse effects, but the formula had changed the following year, and she became very ill after the second shot. It has taken her years to recover from asthma and an ongoing nervous condition, both of which appeared directly after that faulty vaccination.

Homeopathic Eupatorium Perfoliatum Its Uses And Sequences

Natural Remedies:

Homeopathic Eupatorium perfoliatum is one of the main remedies used today for influenza.  It is also useful for colds, for intermittent fevers, such as in malaria, arthritic headaches or migraine headaches when the other symptoms correlate to the remedy, and for gout and its associated bone pains and swellings. (see Kent)
It acts chiefly on the bones, stomach and liver, on the occiput, bronchial tubes, and muscles of chest, back and limbs. (C.M.Boger)

Homeopathic Eupatorium perf. is compatible with, and can be followed well by, Natrum mur and Sepia.

Eupatorium perf. is a similar remedy to Nux vom in that they both have aching and pain in the bones, feeling as if they would break.  The main difference is that Nux vom patients are very irritable, whilst the Eupatorium perf. patient is not irritable, but is decidedly sad and anxious.

Eupatorium perf. can be bought in a homeopathic combination with Arsen alb and Gelsemium, which are also known for their great flu-relieving qualities.

Eupatorium perfoliatum, often called ‘Boneset’  which name arose because of its affinity with the bones, is an ancient herb well known to Dioscorides, who recommended it for old ulcers, snake bite, dysentery, chronic fevers and liver ailments. (Harvey Farrington, MD)

The herb is common in North America, where it gained a reputation as a cold and flu remedy amongst the early settlers of New England.  It is still used today in northern and eastern rural areas for their typical flu and fevers, especially when bone pain and chill is a characteristic of the malady.

In warmer climates, such as the southern areas of America, where influenza is less common than in the cold climates of the north, Eupatorium perfoliatum is used more for malaria and dengue fever.  Kent points out that remedies seem to work differently, on different diseases, depending upon the climate.

Characteristics of Homeopathic Eupatorium perfoliatum:

Bone pains almost always go with the remedy.  Pain in the back, legs, wrists and ankles particularly. The whole body aches intermittently. There is often back pain and chill which seems to emanate from the small of the back, spreading up the back and into the limbs.

The lower leg bones and calves are often affected.  Dropsy of the legs can occur, especially after malarial attacks or gout.  Swelling of the lower legs and feet.

Left wrist can feel sore, as if it is dislocated.

Pain in the eye-balls is often experienced.  Any illness which has this pressure on the eye-balls should respond well to Eupatorium perf.

Painful pressure on the forehead – as in a migraine – a sure indication of the remedy according to Bayes. (W. A. Dewey)  Arthritic headaches.

Restlessness, sadness and anxiety are usually present.

Thirsty.  Often nauseous after drinking.  Smell of food offends. A yellowish colour to the complexion.

Symptoms often worse in the morning and for cold air.  Symptoms can alternate their time frame, being prevalent between 7-9 in the morning on one day, but on the evening of the following day, (Dewey) or at midday the following day according to another source.

Symptoms (fever, chill, headache, bone pain) often display a recurring cycle of either three days, or seven days. (Kent)

The patient is chilled.  Often chill comes after drinking.  Chill can start at small of the back.

Worse lying on right side.

Headache and bone pain can alternate.

Boring headache, pain at back of neck, sometimes alternating with gouty pain in joints.

Gout pains of ankles, elbows, big toe, finger joints.

Sweating relieves many of the symptoms, although not the headache. Sweat seems to be scanty.

Vertigo, and a feeling as if falling to the left is common.

Dry, hacking cough. Painful cough which requires chest to be clutched while coughing.

Hoarse in the morning.  Larynx and upper part of respiratory system are sore. (Dewey)

A laryngeal tickle causes coughing. (C.M.Boger)

Summary of Uses: Eupatorium perf. can help relieve catarrhal fevers, colds and flu, intermittent fevers, malaria, headaches, gout, bone swellings, swelling of legs and ankles.

Homeopathic Sulphur And Its Useful Sequences

Natural Remedies

Homeopathic Sulphur is regarded as the greatest of Hahnemann’s anit-psoric remedies.

Sulphur has the power to draw out toxins and bring them to the surface, thus enabling them to be expelled from the body easily.  It is a powerful antiseptic tool for the homeopath.

Sulphur is very often given when other well-chosen remedies have failed to act.  Sulphur can unblock resistances to pave the way for other remedies to work better.

Sulphur is often effective in bringing up deep-seated health problems.  Skin afflictions are usually a sign of organ imbalance, and poor elimination.  If only the skin is seen as the problem, and cured by medications, and perhaps antibiotics, then the real underlying cause, which is not being treated with the skin remedy,  becomes more deep-rooted within.  Often, lung diseases and other internal problems arise, or worsen, when the skin has been healed in this way.

Sulphur can bring these old complaints out so that they may be treated with appropriate remedies.

Then a healing of the whole system can occur.

Symptoms of a Patient Needing Sulphur: The Sulphur patient usually displays several of these symptoms:  Feels worse for prolonged standing. Burning soles of the feet or palms of hands, and hates feet to be covered up with blankets in bed. Worse for warmth of bed. Better for warm, dry weather, worse for cold and damp, and better, generally, for movement.

Aggravated by wearing too much clothing which increases heat. Often a dislike of water and/or of bathing. Skin is dry and itchy, with often a redness about the nose or mouth or eyes.  Burning eyes. Piles or itchy anus. Constipation. Alcohol worsens symptoms. Often needing catnaps or 40 winks. Lethargic.

Patient often wakes around 3 AM.  Usually a sinking, hungry feeling around 11 AM each day.  Symptoms feel worse at 11AM in morning, and 11PM at night  Feeling of suffocation or burning sensation in the chest, worse for lying down on the back.  Relief sometimes gained by lying on the right side with legs drawn up to the chest.

Aloe and Psorinum complement Sulphur.  Can be used alternately or together. T.S. Iyer suggests these three to help treat metallic poisoning, such as lead or mercury.

Sulphur is compatible with Calcarea, Lycopodium, Pulsatilla, Sarsaparilla, Sepia.

Useful sequences recommended by Iyer, to be taken in the order listed, are:

Sulphur, Calcarea, Lycopodium OR

Sulphur, Sarsaparilla, Sepia

Sulphur is the chronic of Aconite, and can be used to good effect after Aconite.  Iyer recommends this sequence for some cases of pneumonia and other acute  disease.

Iyer suggests not using Sulphur after Mercurius or Calcarea.  Use the Sulphur first.

He says Mercurius and Calcarea are often useful remedies to use AFTER Sulphur has been given.

See merrilyn’s post entitled list of homeopathic combinations and sequences for more information on remedies.

Onions Help Sleep May Prevent Asthma Cancer Stroke Heart Attack

Natural Remedies

The healing compounds in the humble onion are truly remarkable. Onions are rich in Vitamin C, Selenium, and other phytochemicals which are thought to prevent cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and other maladies. They also do much to help prevent asthma attacks.

The oil of the onion is strongly antiseptic, and also has a soporific quality which will be welcome news to the insomniac. Eating onions in the evening will not just do much to benefit your immunity, they can help give you a sound night’s sleep.

Note:  Habitual lack of sleep leads to poor memory function, poor decision-making, and poorer health in the long run.  Sleeplessness is usually due to anxiety, but it can be that the thyroid gland is not functioning properly.  Extra iodine can help to remedy an overactive thyroid, as well as an underactive thyroid. (see Dr Caroline Shreeve, who recommends using kelp to up your iodine and other minerals)

Get a checkup from your doctor or naturopath to make sure there is no serious underlying cause to your sleeplessness.

A medical book from the early 20th century recommends the eating of raw onions to encourage sleep, and quotes a Frank Buckland, who said: ‘Everybody knows the taste of onions; this is due to a peculiar essential oil contained in this valuable and healthy root.  The oil has, I am sure, highly soporific powers.  In my own case, it never fails.  If I am much pressed with work and feel I shall not sleep, I eat two or three onions and the effect is magical.’

(From The Doctor At Home and Nurses Guide’, published in London and Melbourne by Ward, Lock and Co Limited.  No date, but the book is very old, from early 1900’s.  Some drugs recommended in this book, such as mercurial salves, would be quite toxic, and we would avoid them at all cost. However, the book  makes interesting reading and does discuss some commonsense home remedies such as this onion remedy, which can only do you good)

I find that eating an onion sauteed in butter or oil also enhances sleep, if it is taken in the evening. Even half a raw onion, chopped finely and added to crackers and cheese for supper at night, can be  helpful towards attaining sound sleep.

This old book also advises that ‘tea and coffee taken during the day are particularly prejudicial in the interests of sleep.’  We all know this, but how eloquently put…..

I would try an inhalation of onion:  Cut up half an onion and pour over boiling water.  Inhale the steam with a towel over your head.  This can be used as a therapy for many ills, including sleeplessness, flu symptoms, onset of asthma or bronchitis. Be careful not to get too close to the steam, or to burn yourself.

Other helpful hints in the interests of quality sleep, from various sources:

Homeopathic Remedies: The biochemic cell salt Kali phos (potassium phosphate) can help.  A lack of this mineral in the blood can cause sleeplessness. Constance Mellor advises the dose of two pilules before each meal, dissolved on the tongue, and four pilules to be taken just before bed.

Ms Mellor also suggests having a warm bath or shower at bedtime, but not drying oneself completely.  Instead, wrap up in a warm clean sheet to absorb the moisture, and presumably, go to bed with the wrap still on.  This is a similar remedy found in other writings, where a damp wrap is left on at bedtime:  The effect is to bring an increase in temperature, which can be very useful for sweating out the beginnings of a cold or flu.

Suggested Remedies for Sleeplessness Before Midnight:  Depending on the other symptoms, one of these could be helpful:  Ambra, Arsen alb, Calcarea, Calc phos, CCarbo veg, Coffea, Conium, Kali carb, Lycopodium, Magnesia mur, Mercurius, Nat mur, Phosphorous, Pulsatilla, Rhus tox, Sepia, Silicea, Sulphur. (see Dr Andrew Lockie)

Suggested Remedies for Sleeplessness After Midnight: Arsen alb, Capsicum, Coffea, Hepar sulph, Kali carb, Nux vomica, Phosphoric ac., Silicea.

Onion Pack: The onion pack for pleurisy is worth remebering.  This involves cutting an onion, skin and all, covering with water, and simmering for ten minutes or so.  Soak a flannel or piece of cotton material in the onion water.  Wring out, and apply hot to the chest.  Wrap up the pack well to keep the heat in.  A woolen blanket around the chest works well. Cover up in bed and keep the pack on for several hours if possible.  After several hours, the onion water can be heated up again, and a fresh pack made to put onto the chest.  This treatment should work well to bring about peaceful sleep, as the essential oils from the onion will be absorbed into the skin.

Keeping the feet warm is important for sleeping well.  A hot water bottle in cold weather, and woolen socks, are good recommendations.

Putting a sprig of rosemary, lemon balm, or lavender under the pillow can also be helpful in gaining restful sleep. Dried hops sewn into a wee sachet also work as a soporific.

Home Made Poultices And Homeopathy For Treating Leg Ulcers

Natural Remedies

Cod Liver Oil Poultice:

This poultice recipe comes from Ewing Stevens’ radio show.  A version of it is published in his 1993 booklet, ‘Ewing’s Phone People’. A Christchurch listener named Adele reported that her troublesome leg ulcer healed within a few weeks after regular applications of this poultice.

Take one dessertspoon of cod liver oil, and one dessertspoon of Vaseline ointment.  Mix these two together with the yolk of one egg.

Sponge the ulcer with saline solution and carefully dry the wound.  Then spread the cod liver oil mixture over clean white cotton or linen, and apply this as a poultice to the affected area.

It is important to keep the ulcer airtight by wrapping either plastic or gladwrap over the poultice. The poultice needs to be replaced each day with a freshly made preparation.  The ulcer can be bathed with salt water and then dried before applying each fresh poultice.

Honey Poultice:

This is a very old-fashioned remedy for a leg ulcer.  Simply spread raw honey over clean cotton or linen, and apply as a poultice in the usual way.  Replace daily or more often if needed.  Wash the ulcer gently with saline solution when changing the dressing.

Megadoses of Vitamin C: Calcium Ascorbate or Ester C: In the case of long-standing ulcers which do not respond to orthodox treatment, I would recommend daily megadoses of non-acidic vitamin C such as either of the above.  Dose between 3000mg to 10,000mg per day, taken in lots of about 2000mg, depending on the severity of the ulcer.  Reduce the dose as the wound begins to heal.

Intravenous Vitamin C: A weekly injection of Vitamin C could be considered:  This could be an effective but perhaps expensive option, since vitamin C injections are not subsidized on our health systems at the time of writing this article.

Homeopathic Remedies For Leg Ulcers:

Dr Dewey recommends homeopathic Mercurius or Nitric Acid, if the symptoms correspond. He claims Nitric acid to be one of the very best remedies for treating ulcers of the leg. These remedies can also be used externally, as well as internally.

Dr E.H. Ruddock makes mention of Calendula lotion for bathing an ulcer, and use of homeopathic remedies which might be chosen from the following:

Arsenicum for indolent ulcers.  Dr Ruddock suggests an external application of Arsenicum lotion for when there is a discharge of any kind. Arsen alb could also be taken internally in homeopathic form.

Belladonna when there is redness surrounding the ulcer.  Internal and external use.

Hydrastis Canadensis – more for ulcers of mucous membranes, but could be useful for other types of ulcer.  Internal and external use.

Kali Bich for internal and external use for leg ulcers with a hard base and overhanging edges.

Rhus tox, internally and externally.

Silicea for chronic cases of ulcer.

The following can be utilized as constitutional remedies to improve the health, in combination with other treatments: Hepar sulph, Calc carb or Sulphur

Keep Feet Warm:It is important to rest the affected leg, but also to keep the circulation as good as possible.  Regular, gentle massage of the toes and feet could be useful.   Keep the patient warm: socks could be kept on the feet in cold weather.  Put a sprinkle of paprika pepper inside each sock. This improves circulation to the extremities.
