Lupus Cured With Detox Chelation Therapy

Natural Remedies For Lupus

Without radiation, without surgery, without chemotherapy:

Lupus can, and has, been cured through natural treatments, without chemotherapy drugs or surgery.  This will be the focus of this post.

Lupus disease can mysteriously appear in individuals whose families have no history of the disease.  The case discussed in this article proves how toxins in the blood can cause the disease to arise.

I have already written an extensive post on how Lupus can be treated naturally:  For ideas on natural treatments, which include natural ways of detoxification, take a look at this post for further reading http://merrilynhope.com/lupus/

Some homeopathic  practitioners have written that they have cured Lupus through a combination  of various homeopathic remedies and diet. Homeopathic medicine can help to rid the body of the harmful chemicals it is withholding:  These toxins can cause sicknesses of many kinds, including Lupus.

Some of the remedies used by these homeopathic writers are mentioned in my above article.

Heary Metal Poisoning Caused Lupus:

The account of the woman who recovered from Lupus, after she was treated for heavy metal poisoning, is one of the most interesting, because it proves the point that chemical poisoning can indeed cause Lupus.

Her account also proves that people can be cured of Lupus.

This patient had declined all conventional therapies to treat her Lupus, such as radiation, chemotherapy and surgery.  She was still seeking some alternative to these orthodox practices, when:

By accident, she happened to be tested for heavy metal poisoning when she went for standard blood tests for her Lupus condition.  The blood tests for Lupus do not usually include metal poisoning, so it was wonderfully fortuitous that the so-called error was made to check her blood for heavy metals.

When the tests came back, it was clear that she had extremely high levels of mercury and lead in her blood.  She was retested to make sure the results were correct.  Yes, they were correct.  She had dangerous levels of these heavy metals pumping around her veins.

So she sought out a doctor who would address this issue.  She was subsequently given chelation therapy, which is a method of detoxification to remove harmful chemicals and heavy metals from the blood.

After an extensive year-long course of chelation treatment to rid her body of the heavy metals, namely Plasmapheresis and Ozone therapy, she was found to be cured of Lupus disease.

You can read the account of her history on this link:

Cured Lupus Without Chemotherapy or Surgery

Note:  Oxygenating herbs are very useful for treating Lupus naturally.

Herbs For Treating Lupus:

Black Walnut, Juglans nigra, is noted in Louise Tenney’s book as being an herb for treating Lupus.  Black walnut is a great oxygenator of the blood, whilst possessing strong antiviral, antibacterial, antiparasitical properties.

The outer green husk of the Black Walnut is rich in organic iodine, which is a powerful antiseptic.

Taheebo, Pau d’Arco, Tabebuia avellanedae, is another great antiviral, antibiotic herb for reducing Lupus symptoms.  Louise Tenney says that it is used successfully in some South American hospitals for treating cancer.  It is rich in iron and acts as a tonic to boost the immune system.

Vitamin C in the form of calcium ascorbate or Ester C, has the ability to kill off Lupus.  You can take the tablets 1000mg per tablet.  Dose would need to be high – between 4000mg to 10,000mg per day, depending on bowel tolerance.

Intravenous Vitamin C in the correct dose for body weight would be the best way to treat the disease, in my opinion.  Intravenous Vitamin C is an effective treatment for many kinds of cancer.

You need to see your alternative health therapist or doctor to arrange for a treatment of intravenous Vitamin C for the treatment of Lupus.

Home Made Anti Wrinkle Face Cream Recipe

Natural Remedy To Help Prevent Wrinkles and Nourish the Skin:

Here is a lovely face cream which you can make yourself.  It is free of harmful chemicals and honestly rich in vitamin E and other beneficial nutrients which will help reduce those wrinkles on the face.  Very good for the neck and hands too.

This is a standard formula for making cold creams.  You can use the oils of your choice, and, for example,  replace safflower oil for the avocado oil if you wish.  But try to obtain the extra good nourishing oils such as avocado, almond and/or apricot kernel oil if you can.

Apricot and almond kernels, or peach kernels, contain a lot of antioxidant Vitamin B17, known as laetrile, which has been found to be of great benefit in healing degenerative diseases such as cancer, Parkinson’s disease, arthritis, and other conditions. Including oils extracted from any of these fruit kernels will also be highly beneficial for helping to heal and maintain lovely skin.

Avocado oil contains good amounts of the anti-oxidant vitamins A, B, D and E.  These are essential for helping to grow healthy skin tissue.  Avocado oil is a fantastic skin treatment, as the oil medium lubricates the skin and distributes the vitamins evenly over the skin tissue at the same time.

Witchhazel is an age-old skin cosmetic.  It is well-known for its skin-whitening effects and ability to remove blemishes on the face.

Witchhazel water is made from the Hamamelis virginica tree, which is a beautiful yellow-flowered, sweet-smelling tree. As a lotion, it is strongly astringent and has antiseptic properties which make it useful for treating cuts and bruises, bites and stings, piles and things such as bleeding gums.

Recipe For Anti-Wrinkle Face Cream:

In a couble boiler put:

10 grammes of either almond or apricot kernel oil.

20 grammes of avocado or safflower oil

one and a half teaspoons of lanolin (the organic kind which comes from sheep’s wool)

5 grammes of pure beeswax

Heat all up gently until temperature reaches 60C and the beeswax is melted.

In another, smaller, saucepan, gently heat up 35mls of either rosewater or witchhazel water. When the temperature of the chosen water has reached 60C, same as the oils, take both off the heat and gradually beat in the rosewater or witchhazel water into the oil mixture.

Keep beating until mixture is smooth and creamy.

Finally, add 5 drops of your favourite essential oil, and one small teaspoon of liquid honey.

Rose oil, or ylang ylang, or lavender, or patchouli, are what I would choose from.

Beat the honey and essential oil well in.

Then put into a clean, DRY storage jar with a good fitting lid.

Keep in the fridge if you can.  Otherwise, store in a cool, dark place.

Use up the cream within three or four months.  Because it does not have added preservatives, it will not keep as long as commercial face creams do.

The vitamin content, lanolin and beeswax, will all help to preserve your face cream for a while.

Vitamin E is a well known natural preservative.

Beeswax and honey have strong antibacterial, antiviral, and antibiotic properties – These qualities make them good for skin health as well as being a natural preservative for your cream.

Make sure you take the cream out with a clean, dry spoon or spatula each time.

Chicory Root Coffee Health Benefits And Male Contraceptive

Natural Remedy:

Chicory is used as a coffee substitute mainly because it is caffeine-free.

Because it is relatively inexpensive, with a wonderful robust flavour, Chicory is sometimes blended with Coffee.

It is supposed to be effective as a liver cleanser, to help stabilize a rapid heart-beat, to lower  blood cholesterol, and to help reduce fat tissue.

I must say that the effects of trying a coffee-chicory blend of coffee for one week, in place of natural, full-strength coffee, have not been altogether pleasing.  I did notice that that the tummy flattened out a bit, which was good.

But blood pressure was lowered, which for me is not so good, as I have relatively low blood pressure anyway. Blood sugar levels were also lower than usual.  The worst effect was that digestion also became sluggish, which resulted in constipation.  Could possibly have been the effects of withdrawal from my daily dose of caffeine, and it is also possible that gall stones were actually expelled.  But I have decided that one week of this treatment is enough for me, and so I have resumed drinking two to three cups of brewed full-strength coffee again each day.

However, there is a rather unique use for Chicory, according to John Heinerman:

Male Birth Control could be achieved quite naturally by using Chicory Root as a coffee, according to Heinerman’s research.  I do not promise that this works, remember.

He states in his book ‘Miracle Healing Herbs’, published by Prentice Hall, 1998, that Chicory Root was found to render infertile the sperm of mice.

After only one and a half weeks of being fed Chicory Root in one form or another, the mice’s sperm became infertile, and the testicles had reduced in size.

May or may not be a good thing.  One wonders – will the testicles be restored to the normal size again when you stop drinking the Chicory Coffee, and will normal fertility be resumed?  If so, how long will it take?  Anyhow……

Mr Heinerman suggests that the human dose which might act as a human contraceptive is six cups of brewed Chicory Coffee per day.  The Chicory Root, or Endive, is roasted and ground before making the coffee in the usual way.  He prefers the drip method for the best flavour.

Apparently, six cups of strong Chicory Coffee in the one day should work as a natural contraceptive for one whole week.

Obviously, if you are male and you love drinking Chicory Coffee, you might have problems in the conceiving of a baby.  So better avoid that Chicory if you want to have a wee bairn.

Interestingly enough, Louise Tenney lists it in her ‘Today’s Herbal Health’ book as being good for infertility, which contradicts John Heinerman’s idea.  It could be that Chicory helps fertility in women, but not men, OR that in smaller doses it may work to increase fertility.  Louise does not give specific information as to dosage, or whether it suits men, or women, or both.

Heinerman and Tenney say that Chicory can help to dissolve Gall Stones.  Heinerman’s herbal recipe for this is a tea made from simmering half a cup of chopped Chicory root in two pints of water for 20 minutes.  Add either half a cup of chopped Endive.  I would use Dandelion, which is related to Endive, if you don’t have fresh Endive.

Infuse for half an hour or so.  Strain.

Drink two cups at morning tea time, and two more in the evening two hours before bed.

It is recommended that this be repeated for three days running.

Rhubarb Use In Constipation Cancer, Arthritis, Psoriasis

Natural Remedies

There are two types of Rhubarb.  The Chinese variety, Rheum Officinale, is the one mostly used in herbal medicine.  However, garden rhubarb, Rheum Rhaponticum, also has some value in treating certain diseases.

Remedy For Constipation:  The stalks of Garden Rhubarb are, of course, an aged-old remedy for constipation.  I think that this makes it a very helpful treatment in diseases such as cancer, arthritis and psoriasis:  Cleaning out the bowels of effete matter is imperative in treating any disease, as this is usually where the disease originates.

Rhubarb Root For Constipation: In using Garden Rhubarb for treating constipation, the most potent part of the plant to use is the dried root.  It must be dried and powdered or chopped before using, and only a half teaspoon can be taken in one dose.  Do not use this remedy more than once a week, as it is very vigorous in its action:  overuse can result in vitamin and mineral deficiencies.

Poisonous Leaves:  NEVER use the leaves of the Rhubarb plant.  These are very poisonous, as they contain large amounts of oxalic acid.  You can safely eat the stalks of Rhubarb, but never the leaves.

Stewed Rhubarb Stalks And Apple: This is a delicious combination which is often served as a dessert on its own, or used in a crumble as a treat. Simply stew your chopped Rhubarb stalks with an equal amount of grated, unpeeled apple.

In the absence of dried root, eating a cupful of stewed Rhubarb and apple  each morning will surely waken up a lazy bowel.

Because of its laxative qualities, eating rhubarb and apple frequently will help to prevent cancer, arthritis and other degenerative disease.

Eat Plenty Of Other Stuff Too:  Do not overdo the rhubarb.  It is high in oxalic acid which can deplete your body of calcium if your diet is deficient in this and other nutrients. This can result in arthritis-type symptoms and bone pain.

If you use Rhubarb frequently, be sure to eat plenty of other foods which contain calcium, protein and oils, such as good quality milk, fish, sesame seeds, almonds and nuts.

Or, alternatively, use lots of carrot juice, or cabbage, to counter the depleting effect of Rhubarb.

Natural Cancer Treatment: Rhubarb has apparently been used in China for treating some types of cancer. (See ‘Miracle Healing Herbs’ by John Heinerman, PhD, published byPrentice Hall, 1998)

Mammary Tumours: Rhubarb contains good amounts of potassium, calcium, and Vitamin C.  It is also reputed to contain the laxative ingredients rhein and emodin,  which have shown to be effective in treating mammary tumours in mice.

Malignant melanomas have also responded to the use of rhein and emodin compounds.  The dose given in John Heinerman’s book is 50mg per kilogram of body weight as a daily dosage.

Herbal Recipe For Treating Arthritis and Psoriasis: I have not tried this remedy, but this recipe adapted from Heinerman sounds to be very good.  The cabbage juice contained in the mixture would, I think, help to reduce the depletion of calcium.

He macerates 1 cup of Rhubarb root with half a cup of chopped Rhubarb stalks.

To this is added 10 tablespoonsful of powdered grape root – the Oregon variety if you can get it.

8 X 50mg zinc tablets are pounded into the mixture.

The resulting mix is then put into a screw-top jar, and 3 cups of good gin or rum put over it. I think a good vodka would do the trick just as well.

Shake twice a day for two weeks, then strain the mixture.

The final addition is One and a Quarter cups of cold cabbage water.  This is obtained by gently  simmering half a chopped cabbage in two pints of water for half an hour, or until the water has reduced to about half or less.

Put the Rhubarb liquid, together with the cabbage water, into a bottle and screw on the lid.

I would keep it in the fridge, to make sure it does not ferment before you use it up.

Dose is one teaspoonful five times a day before meals and before morning tea and afternoon tea.

John Heinerman says this is helpful for treating Arthritis and Hepatitis. Skin diseases such as Psoriasis, Eczema, Herpes and Acne Vulgaris should all benefit from this herbal tonic.

Boron For Arthritis and Creaky Joints In Cattle and Goats

Natural Remedy For Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Soft Bones

Boron Is Essential For Health

It is a fact that diseases can result from deficiencies of certain minerals and vitamins in the diet.

Disease can result, too, from exposure to herbicides, pesticides, and other harmful chemicals.  Agents in these poisons can cause sudden depletion of certain minerals in our bodies, as well as having a harmful, residual effect.

So, let us not use any harmful chemicals, and concentrate on improving the quality of our pastures, animal health, and vegetables by supplementing essential organic elements, so that we all stay healthy.

We need only small amounts of certain trace elements, but if these essential trace elements are lacking in our food, then we get sick.

Take a look at how cattle can develop arthritic symptoms, osteoporosis and soft bones when they do not have enough Boron in their diets  See how well they recover when given the correct treatment – a boost of Boron to their feed, and some of it applied to the soil.

It stands to reason, then, that the same goes for people – disease can often be cured by taking supplements of the minerals which are lacking in our diets.

Pat Coleby’s book, entitled ‘Healthy Cattle Naturally’, which was published in 2002 by ‘Landlinks Press’, Collingwood, Vic., Australia, gives valuable insights into mineral and vitamin deficiencies of animals.  You can still purchase the book, hopefully, by emailing [email protected]

This is a very technical book which would be of interest to all farmers and orchardists interested in improving their soil and the health of their animals through natural, organic means.

But for the lay-man, we can glean so much useful information from this book, as the nutritional science which works for the soil and animals is the same one which works for us.

For many years, Pat has kept a heard of milking-goats which he has kept healthy by adding borax and other minerals to their feed, and sea-weed to the soil on which they graze.

In ‘Healthy Cattle Naturally’, Pat Coleby describes how cattle also become sick when their diets consist of too little Boron.  He says that around Bendigo, in Victoria, Australia, where the soil has low readings for Boron, all stock suffer arthritis unless the deficiency is addressed.

Because his soils were so deficient in Boron, causing his goats’ joints to creak badly, Pat found it necessary to dose his goats with a little Borax each week to correct the deficiency.  He says on page 90, ‘I had to add 1 teaspoon a week of Borox per 30 head of goats.’  I think he may mean that he used 1 teaspoon per goat per week, as a little further on, he says that dairy cattle, although needing less Boron than goats, sometimes needed to  have a boost of ‘about 5g (a teaspoon) per head’, which was added to the feed  just once each week ‘with beneficial results’.

Sea-weed and Borax, the Sources of Boron:

Sea-weed:  The easiest remedy for a Boron deficiency in the soil is sea-weed.  Sea-weed is rich in Boron, Cobalt, Zinc, Iodine, and Selenium,  which are all trace elements necessary for the health of soil, farm animals, plants, and people.

Benefits of Kelp in the Diet:  You can see how valuable the daily addition of Boron-rich kelp to our diets will be, for helping to prevent such conditions as arthritis, osteoporosis and other bone troubles.

Borax as a Supplement:  The other method of curing a Boron deficiency in animals and soil is to use Borax, sodium borate.  Sometimes it is necessary to supplement this as well as sea-weed, when the soil is extremely depleted of Boron.

One has to question the quality of the soil on which our supermarket vegetables have been grown.  If our vegetables are low in Boron, and other essential trace elements, then, over time, we are likely to develop arthritis and other maladies,  just like the cattle and goats around Bendigo.

Pat says that soils which are low in Boron are hard to grow good food on.  The ears of wheat do not fill out properly, leaving the lower part of the wheat ear undeveloped.  Fruit and nut trees do not thrive.  Legumes and lucerne, or alfalfa, will not grow in Boron deficient soil, or soil which is low in Magnesium or Calcium.

Dolomite powder is the remedy for low Magnesium and Calcium.

Here is a mineral combination given by Pat as a general  base lick to keep animals healthy.  He advises keeping it around for stock to partake of.  He also keeps rock salt available for stock to lick.  They apparently take just the right amount needed of the lick and the salt.

Dolomite 25 kilograms

Copper Sulphate 4 kilograms

Yellow dusting sulphur 4 kilograms

Seaweed meal which is urea free 4 kilograms

He insists that the lick must not be allowed to get wet, as the copper content is lost very quickly if it gets rained on.
