Homeopathic Remedies For Babies Letter To Sneha

Simple Homeopathic Treatments For Colds, Flu, Fever.

Of course you should take your baby to a doctor if he or she is ill.  But you could consider visiting a Homeopath or Ayurvedic practitioner BEFORE your baby gets sick, so that you can learn about Homeopathic alternatives for antibiotics.  Homeopathic medicines can be used instead of vaccinations.  Vaccinations, I believe, and so do many doctors themselves, are very harmful to a growing baby’s immune system.  It is well worth looking into the option of using Homeopathic medicine as a solution for fighting childhood illnesses, as Homeopathic remedies do not pose the dangers to health which standard vaccinations or innoculations or antibiotics do.

Dear Sneha,
It is really nice to hear from you.  I still have the flu.  I am sitting at the computer with the fan heater blowing on me, so I don’t get cold.  I am still not really feeling like talking much on the phone – mainly because I have to sit in a really cold place to talk.  But I should be able to talk to you on the phone sometime over the weekend.

Homeopathic arsen alb is helping me to recover quickly.  If you take it early enough, it will prevent the flu coming on.

Yes – wasn’t it a great weekend?  I feel like part of the family.  I do love coming to see you both, and you always spoil me so much with all that beautiful Indian food you cook.
No good that little Chris has gotten a bug too.  It may be the same thing which I have come down with.  I am sure he will be OK soon.
Personally, I never used antibiotics at all for my children, and I do not take them for myself either these days.  My children all got better with natural treatments such as extra Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Homeopathic remedies.

I also refused to vaccinate my children, after my first-born became ill from having immunization antibiotics at three months old, and again at six months old.  After that experience, I decided to use Homeopathy instead of vaccinations.  My three younger children did not have any immunization at all, not even for tetanus.  This was a good way of staying out of the doctor’s office.

And I believe that the usual childhood infectious diseases such as measles, mumps and chicken pox are important for the child to experience, as these infections make the child stronger by building up the immune system.  My children all had these infections which I treated with homeopathic remedies and vitamins C and A.

Immunization weakens the immune system, of that I am sure.  It is interesting to note that my one child who did have those first two vaccinations is the one who now most frequently needs to visit the doctor.

Homeopathic remedies are very good, and they are a favourite of all Ayurvedic practitioners.  I am sure you have heard of the  Indian Ayurvedic medicine.  I think it originates in your Kerala province, actually.
Anyway – Homeopathic remedies are the best way to go.

It is great that you are still feeding Chris breast-milk.  Your baby has a stronger immune system when you are feeding him yourself.  The natural antibodies in your milk help your baby to resist disease, and breast-fed babies do not generally get sick in the first six months of life. If your baby does get sick, then  Homeopathic remedies will usually work really well when your baby is breast-fed.

Antibiotics are weakening to the body in the long run, and may even set the stage for cancer and arthritis later on in life.
You really should avoid using them on your baby unless there is an emergency.  Anyway, it is good to see the doctor, especially if Chris’s throat is sore.  This can be a symptom of diphtheria, which is dangerous for children.  However,  it is most likely just a simple flu virus, or a cold.

Homeopathic remedies are sold at most health-food stores.  Belladonna and Aconite are two of the most used remedies for childhood illnesses.  Aconite is used when the illness comes on suddenly, especially after becoming chilled or wet in the rain.  Belladonna is generally very good for when there is restlessness with burning hot cheeks.  Bryonia is excellent where there is a persistent cough, as it helps to dry up the mucous.  Bryonia can be used alternately with Aconite, which make these two remedies very effective in clearing up flu, coughs, and fevers.

You can use Halibut liver oil capsules as well as the Homeopathic treatments.  I used to bite open two capsules and squirt the oil straight into the mouth of my baby.  Then eat the remaining capsules yourself.  Halibut liver oil is one of the best ways of fighting infection.

Apis 3x is a specific remedy for Diphtheria, and so is Phytol. and Lachesis.  However, I do not think that Chris has Diphtheria.  The timing of Chris’s sickness is concurrent with my getting this flu, so it is very likely to be the same thing.

Anyway – Hope you don’t mind my telling you these things.  You may decide you do not want to follow Homeopathic treatments, and stay with those antibiotics.  But I would surely recommend going to see a Homeopathic doctor, or an Ayurvedic practitioner, rather than using antibiotics.

Hope Chris gets well soon.

Thanks again for having me.
Much Love,
Merrilyn.

Sneha replied shortly afterward:

Hi Merrilyn
I was busy with Chris .I saw your message just now .Thanks for your suggestions and considerations .I don’t like to take the antibiotics in his infancy .ButI am worried about his fever .Its third time he has getting high temperature . Actually he has no flu and cough. However, temperature comes up and down.  So I went to the hospital . I thought if i neglect now it will worse after and I start the antibiotics.

I know about the Homeopathic medicine and its very good  for the children and adults . I thought its in India only .India is a famous place of the Ayurvedic medicines.I want to suggest about these Homeopathic medicines and Ayurvedic remedies  with B.  He knows about these more than me. Its really helpful you said everything from your experience . So I don’t want more clarification for that.

In India, we were using these Homeopathic medicines and everyone likes it. Children still using these remedies for fever and flu there . Thank you for reminding us about that .I heard last month , an Indian Homeopathic  Doctor is available in Auckland.  I don’t know about her details and address. I can contact her later after finish these course of antibiotics of Chris.

Homeopathic Remedies For Pleurisy As Recommended By Dr John Clarke, MD.

Get Professional Advice For That Lung Problem:

Hi Devanshu.  Thankyou for your question on Homeopathic Remedies for Pleurisy. I would urge you to take your wife to see a health professional immediately.

You might like to look up my latest post entitled Homeopathic and Herbel Remedies For Sunstroke to see how I tackled the problem of pleurisy which followed the sunstroke.  But do see a doctor.

General Advice For People:  You need to promptly visit your health professonal if you have a lung condition, or any inflammation or infection in the lungs.  Consult with your Homeopath, Naturopath, Ayurvedic practitioner, Chinese Herbalist, or Doctor for a professional opinion on your condition, and whether or not Homeopathic remedies can be safely used at your stage of an illness.  Homeopathic remedies do work, but it is not a good idea to begin your homeopathic experimentations on such serious diseases as pleurisy.  If there is an emergency, it is very often a good idea to take an antibiotic rather than meddle with homeopathic remedies, unless you have the guidance of someone experienced in the science of Homeopathy, who is likely to  prescribe exactly the right remedy to reverse the condition.

Homeopathic Doctor John Clarke wrote a wonderful little hand-book of natural remedies, entitled ‘The Prescriber’.  This was first published in the 1950’s, and was reprinted in 1991.

‘The Prescriber’ is a valuable text-book for people who wish to learn to treat illness with homeopathic remedies.  It tells exactly what remedy to use for each stage of an illness, and for what particular symptoms, and how often the dose.  I recommend that you try to obtain this book if you want to become skilled in using homeopathy.

Dr John Clarke recommends a range of remedies for the treatment of Pleurisy of the lungs.  Only one remedy would be chosen at a time, to treat specific symptoms which accompany the pleurisy.  You would need to get advice from your Homeopath on which of these remedies would most suit your condition, or the condition of the person you are trying to help.

These remedies are:  Aconite, Sulphur, Cantharis, Bryonia, Hapar sulph, Belladonna, Arsen alb, Apis, and Asclepias tuberosa.

Aconite 3, 1h. can be used at the beginning of the pleurisy, when there is heat, restlessness and anxiety, but ‘before effusion has occurred’.

Sulph. 3, 1h can be used after the effusions have occurred, and when there are sharp pains which make all movement very painful.

Cantharis 3, 1h can be used when there is not much fever, but with fluid effusions.

Bryonia 2, 1h is good for the violent pains in the side of the ribs, and when there is excessive effusion and fever. Bryonia is recommended when the pain is worse from the slightest movement.  Bryonia is often  characterized by the pain being lessened when lying on the painful side.  If the pain gets better from lying on the sore side, then Bryonia is often a good remedy to use.  Personally, I have used Bryonia many times for distressing lung conditions.  It is a great remedy for helping to dry up mucous, or effusions.

Belladonna 3, 1h can be used when the pain becomes worse for lying on the sore side, ahd when there is a high fever with a very flushed face.

Sulphur 3x-30 can be used for persistent effusion.

Hepar sulph 6, 4h when the condition has become chronic, with the formation of pus.

Dr Clarke recommends tapping of the lungs when the fluid is excessive,  When the patient has not improved at all  from treatment, and there is a  ‘danger of fainting’ and of ‘threatening asphyxia’, then your doctor may have to tap the fluid from the lungs.  Sometimes people need this treatment even when they do not respond to antibiotics.

After the acute stage, Dr Clarke suggests Ars alb 3, 4h, if the fluid is slow to be absorbed.  Apis 3x, 2h is another remedy which can help to dry up the fluid near the end of the illness.

Asclepias tuberosa o is a very good and useful general remedy for Pleurisy according to Dr John Clarke.  The dose he recommends is 15 drops in a little water, taken every hour until improvement is noted.

An Onion Poultice Is A Powerful Natural Remedy for Treating Lung Conditions:  I have used this remedy successfully on many occasions.  It can be used in conjunction with the appropriate homeopathic remedy.

You cut up one whole onion, skin and all.  Cover the onion with water, and simmer for 20 minutes or so.  Even the fumes of this concoction will help congested lungs.  After the onion has simmered for 20 minutes, allow to cool so that the mixture is still hot, but comfortable to the touch.  Then soak a clean, dry tea-towel in the onion concoction.  Wring out and place over the chest while still hot.  Put over a plastic sheet to protect clothing and bedding, and cover again with womething warm, such as a piece of woollen flannel.

Put a hot water bottle over all of the coverings, pull up the blankets, and prepare to sweat out the congestion in the lungs.  You can heat up the onion water again in an hour, to reapply a fresh hot poultice.  Leaving the poultice on the chest increases the sweating, which decreases the infection.  Even when the poultice has cooled down, it will still have the effect of encouraging sweating.

But do none of this without visiting your doctor or homeopath or health professional first.

Slippery Elm and Marshmallow Root Gluten Free For Coeliac Disease

Slippery Elm and Marshmallow are  gluten-free foods which are very soothing to the digestive tract and mucous membranes.

Because these herbs are gluten-free, they are ideal for people with coeliac disease and with lupus.  They can also help relieve the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome and colitis.

They both can be used as a healing salve to settle the stomach and the bowels, and to help heal the mucous membranes.

Slippery Elm is high in mucilage, which gives it its healing qualities.  This is what makes it a great soothing food for any conditions of the digestive system.  It is of special value as a food for coeliacs, especially when the intestines have become inflamed.

Because it is so easily digested, slippery elm is  a great food  for convalescents, for babies, and  for old people whose digestive systems have become weak.

Slippery Elm food is a great restorative tonic which can help underweight people normalize their weight.

Slippery Elm is also used to help soothe the bronchial  and sinus passages in cases of colds, flu, bronchitis or pneumonia.

Slippery Elm can help some people who find milk difficult to digest.  The mucilagenous nature of slippery elm breaks up the protein particles in milk, distributing them about in suspension so that they are more readily digested in the intestines.  Some people, who otherwise cannot tolerate milk, find that using slippery elm daily gives them the ability to digest milk without any trouble.

Up to Six Cups of Slippery Elm Tea can be taken daily. Try and take a cup of slippery elm tea half an hour before you have your meals. This will help the digestion of the meal to come.  You can have another cup at morning and afternoon tea-time if you need to.

To make a cup of slippery elm tea to use as a food, simply put one or two teaspoons of slippery elm powder into a cup.  Mix in a little cold water to make a paste, then stir in boiling water to fill up the cup. Stir in the water carefully so that lumps do not form.  Let the mixture cool for ten minutes, then drink.

Candida Quick Fix With Epsom Salts Still Needs On Going Modified Diet

Natural Remedies To Rid The Body Of Candida Without Antibiotics

Of course, you do need to consult with your doctor or naturopath or homeopath or ayurvedic practitioner before using any of these remedies.  And you would generally use only one of the following methods, depending on what your health practitioner suggests.

And after trying a ‘quick fix’ to eliminate candida, you need to still take care with the diet and avoid yeasts, alcohol, sugar, milk products and wheat as much as possible.

Remember that vaccinations and antibiotics can cause candida infections.  Even those flu jabs can weaken your immune system by interfering with the natural balance of organisms in the intestines.

I have found  some natural remedies which will tackle the onslaught of a sudden  candida infection.  They can reduce the  distressing symptoms of candida very effectively.

These remedies are epsom salts, castor oil, calcium ascorbate, and enemas.   Aspirin, baking soda,  garlic, and the kawakawa leaf, from the plant which is indigenous to New Zealand, are also helpful, but the first three mentioned are very quick to act, especially in conjuction with an enema.  Of course, there are many other remedies, such as  homeopathic thuja-echinacea, and herbs such as taheebo, or pau d’arco,  but I will talk here about the remedies which are easy to procure in New Zealand, and inexpensive as well – Epsom Salts, Castor Oil, and Calcium Ascorbate.

1) A Candida Quick Fix Using Epsom Salts:  This is very easy to do.  It works by cleansing the effete matter out of the intestines and other organs.  Rubbish hanging about in the body’s digestive process is a great breeding ground for candida.  Epsom salts also have an alkaline effect on the body and its digestive process – Making the body alkaline  through taking epsom salts for a few days stops the candida albicans from proliferating.  Thus epsom salts is  helpful in normalizing and balancing  the bowel flora again.

Dose For Epsom Salts as a Quick Fix For Candida:  Note:  If you have heart problems, or are unwell from any other disease, then you should not try this remedy.  Seek advice from your doctor.

If you are normally quite healthy, then an adult can take  a dose first thing in the morning, or last thing at night, of two teaspoons Epsom Salts dissolved  in about a pint of warm water.

Next day, repeat the dose with one teaspoon of Epsom Salts in another pint of warm water.  If you have a bowel motion soon after taking the Epsom Salts, then leave the next dose for a day or two.

Repeat for up to three or four doses taken over a period of four days to a week.  This should fix the Candida overgrowth.

You can take 2tsps once a week to help cleanse the insides and reduce candida.

I find that I do not have to follow such an extremely stringent anti candida diet if I use castor oil, or epsom salts, on a fairly regular basis.

2) Castor Oil As A Quick Fix For Candida:  This works in much the same way as the Epsom Salts cleanse, by removing the effete matter out of the bowel, so that there is no old rubbish left around for Candida albicans to breed in.  Somehow, Epsom Salts and Castor Oil do not affect the ‘good’ bacteria in the bowel, which makes them wonderful medicines in treating Candida complaints.

Take 2 tablespoons of castor oil with a cup of black, freshly made coffee, first thing in the morning, before breakfast.  You probably won’t feel like eating anything much after taking the castor oil.  When you do decide to eat breakfast, then eat something light, such as a boiled egg, or a bowl of oatmeal porridge with a grated apple – no sugar – no milk.  Fruit is not meant to be good for people with rampant candida.   I could not eat any fruit at all for a long time after becoming poisoned with asbestos and heavy metals, but these days, I find that eating fruit after taking castor oil or epsom salts works well to detoxify the body of any accumulated toxins and candida.

Wait for a couple of days, then repeat the castor oil dose.  This should fix most people’s candida overgrowth.  However, if your candida is the result of chemical poisoning, then you will have to take the castor oil on a regular basis – once or twice a week, depending on the level of your toxicity.  And you will need to be VERY careful to make sure you avoid all yeasts, sugars, wheat, and dairy products for a time.

If you suspect you have chemical poisoning, then seek professional advice from your health practitioner before tackling either castor oil or epsom salts.

3) A Third Method Which Is A Quick Fix For Candida is Calcium Ascorbate

Calcium Ascorbate is a non acidic form of Vitamin C.  This treatment works a bit like the Epsom Salts method because it makes the body alkaline.  Its effect is almost immediate, like Epsom Salts.  Calcium Ascorbate also works to neutralize toxins in the intestines, and to help eliminate those toxins out of the system.  These reasons make Calcium Ascorbate a very valuable natural therapy for treating Candida, and for helping to keep the body alkaline and free from disease.

1000mg once a day with a big glass of water is an appropriate dose for an adult.  If the infection is very bad, then you could take up to three doses a day of 1000mg each – just until the bowels start to loosen.  Then reduce the dose to between 500mg to 1000mg a day.

4) Using a Warm Water Enema helps to get rid of candida quickly.  You can use the enema in conjunction with any other treatment you decide to use. The enema works by washing out the debris from the bowel, so that  the candida organism has nothing to feed on.  Walter Last ALWAYS recommended the use of an enema – daily if necessary – to help cure any disease. I find his advice to be sound.  Cleaning the intestines with water does help with candida.  Dr Max Gerson is  another healer who insisted on daily enemas to cure his patients of any disease, including cancer.

For the enema, you can add half a small teaspoon of sea salt to around a litre of warm water.

Aspirin – salicylate acid – can be a great help, as can baking soda,  if you have a sudden attack of candida which causes pain in the stomach.  Both these remedies have an alkaline effect. Two aspirins can be taken with a big glass of water. Or a small teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water.  Use these  remedies only as an emergency treatment.  It is not good to take aspirin regularly, and nor is it good to use baking soda regularly. Both these things weaken the kidneys, so only use them occasionally .

Calcium ascorbate vitamin C will also address a sudden attack of candida in the stomach.  Interestingly enough, Dr Gerson used to use aspirin combined with vitamin C as a pain-reliever for his cancer patients.  He found that taking the Vitamin C (which I think was Calcium Ascorbate) helped reduce the toxic effects of aspirin.

Recommended Modified Diet For Candida

Most important thing is not to use reheated food, or to leave food for longer than a few hours in the fridge before using.  Freshly prepared food is best.

This is a version of the diet which Walter Last gave to me many years ago.

It is sensible to try to stick to a yeast-free, sugar-free, wheat-free and dairy-free diet.  No alcohol, no vinegar, no sauces.  Sometimes organic, unpasteurized, fresh milk can be good, especially goat’s milk.  But generally, it is better to lay off milk and cheese.  Soy milk, I find, is often no good because the soy beans have begun fermenting a little in the processing.  Beef, fish, chicken and lamb are good.  Eggs are good, unless you have a specific allergy to them

Avoid processed meats, such as ham, corned beef, salami, and the like.  These often have chemicals and gluten  in them which are not good if you want to correct candida overgrowth.

All green vegetables are good.  Raw celery is especially good for candida, as it contains a natural antibiotic-antiseptic and is powerfully alkaline.

Garlic is another good natural antiseptic for candida.

Avoid mushrooms – these are a fungus, which is a type of yeast, and all yeasts must be avoided.

Be careful of carrots and other sweet fruits at the beginning of your treatment.  The sugar in these can be problematic.  But once the infection has been stemmed, grated raw apples and carrots, and cooked carrots, should be OK.

All good oils such as sunflower, olive, grapeseed, and butter are OK.  Olive oil is especially good.

Freshly cooked rice is good, but be careful not to leave any leftovers more than a few hours before using.  Cooked mung beans I find OK, especially if plenty of garlic and celery are added.  Be careful of all sprouted mung beans and other seeds, as they can get yeasts growing on them due to the several days it takes to grow them.  If your infection is not too severe, then freshly sprouted and carefully washed mung beans, or alfalfa, should be OK.

Toxic Pesticides, Toxic Herbicides, Household Bleach, Detergents, and other strong chemicals should be avoided. These, like radiation, all affect the balance of yeasts and other organisms in our environment, as well as the human body.

I find that candida problems, which manifest in the stomach and the skin with me,  are almost always due to chemical exposure.  I am likely to get a bout of indigestion, with stomach cramps, within a few days of people spraying poisonous insecticide about.  I have noticed that the council’s weed killer, which they have only recently started to use in north Auckland, when the north shore council combined with the big auckland council, brings on the candida symptoms.

I believe everybody in the vicinity of the grass-side verges which the council have sprayed will be susceptible to candida infections.  Only, many people will not realize that the cause of their  sudden headaches, or flu-like symptoms, or lethargy, or bone aches, or stomach cramps, or bowel disorders, or depression, etc, is directly related to the round-up, or whatever, which has been sprayed at their door.  They will trot along to the doctor to get diagnosed with various complaints, possibly even with arthritis which has come on suddenly, when, in fact, many of these complaints will be due to exposure to toxic chemicals and radiation which encourage candida yeasts.

The Brodifacoum poisoning of the Shakespear Park in Whangaparaoa will have increased the incidence, I believe, of candida-related sicknesses in the region.

These chemical sprays or pellets,  as well as household fly spray, bleach, or chlorine cleansers, quickly throw out the balance of bowel flora, which leads to candida becoming rampant.  The candida overgrowth, in turn, lowers the immune system even more, after the toxic chemicals have done their work, so that you might be vulnerable to any flu or viruses which happen to be floating about.  You will be more susceptible to infection until you have  eliminated the toxic chemicals, and combatted the candida so that the  bowel flora is restored.

Epsom salts, castor oil, vitamin c calcium ascorbate, and enemas, will all help to remove the chemicals affecting you, as well as clean the intestines of rubbish.

Radioactive chemicals from the nuclear disaster in  Fukushima, Japan, will be affecting people’s health on a world-wide scale.  Radioactive chemicals are very damaging to the body, as we know.

But – It only takes a small change in the air temperature, in humidity, and the level of chemicals in the environment, for candida to become rampant in an environment.  The people of Japan and the countries close to Japan, will be affected  profoundly, I believe, by this unseen, phantom yeast, because it affects the natural balance of bowel flora, and consequently, affects the immune system.

Which is why, I think, a daily dose of calcium ascorbate vitamin C is a good idea, to allay the effects of radiation chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, etc, etc, in the environment.  Some things we have no control over, and so we have to do the best we can.

Herbalists And Homeopaths Can Develop Sensitivity To Their Own Potions

Did you know that Bee Keepers often develop allergies to their own bees, to their stings, and to the pollen that they carry?   This can happen after many, many years of  working as a bee-keeper.  Suddenly, one day, an allergic reaction can be experienced from a sting, when it has never happened before.  This usually results in the bee-keeper, who has suddenly become allergic to his own bees, having to give up being a bee-keeper.

The same type of sensitivity can develop in people who are constantly handling Homeopathic remedies, or Herbal medicines. It is an occupational hazard, that Homeopaths and Herbalists can become sensitive to their own remedies.  People who make these things at home need to be cautious.

The thing is that when you put  herbs or spices of any kind into a medium such as water, or alcohol, vinegar, or oil, their potency is increased  by a phenomenal amount.  A handful, or even a basketful of fresh herbs, may not present too much of a problem to most people.  But the minute that you put these herbs into alcohol, or any other medium, then the strength of the potion will become far greater than the original sum of the parts.  This means that you should avoid  storing, or making and leaving these herbal potions  to ferment, or to infuse, in places such as on the kitchen table, or in your bedroom, or any place where you spend several hours a day.  Even storing them in a room  near your bedroom will cause your health to be affected, for better or for worse, especially if you are keeping a quantity of different remedies.  The more remedies that you store, and the greater the quantities, the more intense will their effect be.  An enormous range of  unexpected symptoms could result from the synergistic effect of combining these energies.

Unfortunately, although I still use Homeopathy occasionally, or help people to find an appropriate remedy for their complaints, I cannot work as a professional Homeopath, because of the sensitivity I have to these remedies. I feel the specific effect of many remedies without even having to touch them, or swallow them.  Just having a bottle of a preparation nearby is enough for many sensitive  people, to  experience the desired effect from either a Homeopathic or a Herbal remedy. The converse applies – that you could experience an UNdesired effect from keeping a remedy nearby.

I could never be a professional herbalist who makes up specific remedies for people,  as part of the daily routine, for this reason, because I would be dosing myself with many different herbs or remedies, without having a need for them.  The same sensitivity is evident when I am exposed to chemicals such as toxic herbacides, or pesticides, and various household chemicals which most people spray around with gay abandon.  A whiff of these type of chemicals brings about definite changes in my emotional and physical state which can often be very distressing.

Blow those Doctors and critics of Homeopathy, who say that Homeopathic remedies are useless, because there is nothing in them.  These people believe that  ‘there is nothing in Homeopathic Medicines’ which can do anything at all to help in an illness.  My own experience has proven, apart from the fact that Homeopathy has often cured illnesses in our family, as has Herbal medicine, that Herbal or Homeopathic remedies which are stored, or prepared, in our much used spaces, such as kitchens, can actually CAUSE sickness.   Homeopathic preparations, or herbal ones, have an incredible power to cause physiological changes in the body, for better of worse.  And this is why you need to be cautious about making or storing these remedies.

Of course, there is nothing wrong in keeping a few of the Homeopathic First Aid Remedies, such as Arnica, Thuja, Aconite, Belladonna, Ledum, or Pulsatilla.  But it is best to keep this small collection together, away in the bath-rom cupboard, and not in your bedroom.  And it is best not to have large quantities of any one remedy, or too many different ones kept together.

The same goes, of course, to pharmaceutical preparations.  Your health could be affected by pharmaceutical drugs, or household chemicals such as insect killers and weedkillers which are stored anywhere in your house.  Even if you are not sensitive, these things will affect your metabolism and your emotions.  Of course, using these chemicals is not good for your health or the environmnent.  But even storing these things in your house is not a good practice, because you will be affected by the vibration of the chemical.  Ill health could be caused by keeping these things in your laundry, kitchen or bathroom, even if you don’t use them.
