Homeopathy and Your Child’s Health

Homeopathy For The Home First Aid Kit

How To Avoid Using Harmful Medications:

I used herbal medicine and homeopathic remedies for many years when I was bringing up my children. I found these remedies to be so incredibly successful that the whole family did without standard inoculations, and we all avoided seeing a doctor for many years. There are no harmful side effects in using the common homeopathic remedies, unlike using  allopathic prescription medicine, which usually has negative and toxic side effects of some sort.

However, I do not dare to suggest that people should follow my example. Sometimes allopathic medicine is necessary, and doctors and nurses do indeed save many lives: I urge you to see a health professional before following the ideas I out-line in this, and other, articles.

HOMEOPATHY is a wonderful age-old science of medicine which can be used effectively for treating many common conditions and complaints, both physical and emotional.

ARNICA   Arnica is the number one remedy. All families with young children would benefit from adding this to their first-aid kits.  It is an amazing remedy for shocks, bruises and sprains. Buy some TODAY.

Arnica can help settle the emotions as well as heal the bruise. The trauma which has been endured  after an accident can be alleviated by taking arnica. Often we get nervous stabbing pains around an injury which persist long after physical recovery. These, too, are helped by arnica, even when taken  years after the injury.

In the old days when I was a girl, before New Zealand country people had knowledge of the wonderful homeopathic remedies available to us today, our  mothers used to give us aspirin or pain killers for the after-effects of an injury.

These days even worse alternatives are used by many parents:  Drug companies make drug combinations which are sold as safe medecines for calming young children, and even putting them to sleep. This is an extremely sad state of affairs, as the children who are being dosed with these harmful products are

1. Not being allowed to behave and develop as normal healthy children.

2.There is a real danger of these children becoming drug dependent as children, and drug or alcohol dependent in their adulthood. Depression, which affects 1 or 2 out of 5 in our “civilized” culture – the statistics are increasing- will sadly be the result if these commercial sedatives are used on a regular basis. Avoid them like the plague.

Instead, use a dash of ARNICA.

You can’t get addicted to ARNICA and it won’t harm your health or your child’s  in any way.

3. There are ALWAYS side effects to any drug or medication, especially when regularly used. The side effects of these sedative products is not widely advertised even when the drug companies KNOW what these side effects will be. There is a liklihood that damage  to kidneys, liver, heart, circulaton, nervous system, muscular and bone growth, and brain development will occur. The practice of using such products should be avoided at all cost.

Electricity Transformers, Cell-Phones and People

Auric Body Affected By Electricity and Microwaves:  I have always been sensitive to electricity, however, excessive wine-drinking had severly undermined my health in the three year period prior to 1998, so I guess at this time I was  very fragile, more vulnerable to bad influences, and that my judgement was impaired.

I bought not one, but a second house in a gold-mining town. This did my health no good at all because of the high electro-magnetic energies at this location.

Even when I had stopped drinking, whilst living in this town, my health contined to deteriorate rapidly. This deterioration was noticeable after living with a friend who had a transformer in the front of her house: I stayed there for three months, after which time I was so ill with bone pain, depression, blurred vision and all the classic symptoms of radiation sickness from an electrical transformer, that I was forced to move away. Three months of living in Hawkes Bay at the beach cured me, after which time I returned, unwisely, to the gold-mining town, to the second house I had bought there.

This house was a disaster – I hardly got to live in it at all, because the transformer which I had judged to be a sufficient distance away, was not far enough away for me, and because two cell-phone towers which I had not taken into account when I bought the house, were placed on the hills nearby.

The section was large and beautiful, with many fruiting and exotic trees. Iat was possible for me to move well away from the force-field of the electrical transformer by pitching a tent down the back of my garden and live with nature. One would have expected good results for curing electricity sensitivity with this approach: the more you “earth” yourself, the better; the fewer electrical disturbances about you, the better. But, while being outside in the garden drew me away from the transformer, I could do nothing about the cell-phone towers and their harmful energies, nor the energy below me which seemed to suck out my life force: this second house was on the opposite side of the mine to the first house, and was very much worse than the first, being closer to the perimeter of the mine.

My health continued to deteriorate. My hair was falling out by the handful. Sharp, stabbing pains in the skull accompanied by an intense burning sensation over the skull, dizziness,  “white-outs” in the brain, which affected my ears by simply shutting down the hearing facility for seconds at a time, and heart palpitations, all became more regular. This continued all the while I remained at this location.

I would escape by getting further into the country and spending a couple of nights in the car. Miraculously, all symptoms would disapear and I would feel great. Then I would return to the house in the town by the gold-mine only to have these troubles start all over again.

Consequently, I never stayed longer than a week or two at this house, with most of the nights spent sleeping in the car.

There were two other reasons which I suspect heightened my electricity and cell-phone sensitivity, apart from the fact that I was being zapped by excessive amounts of both:

Any gold-field has a high aura of energy about it because of the magnetic quality of quartz crystals and other minerals which accompanies gold in its natural state.

These energies, I believe, can be healing in small doses. Many people from the city go to a town such as this one, to heal themselves or undergo some sort of personal transformation. I needed both. However, in my experience, it was imperative that, once the healing had occurred (i.e. quitting alcohol, thanks to the many friends who had helped me there), that I should move on. By staying, I was continuing to expose myself to natural energies that were of such a high frequency and dynamic force as to be damaging in the long term.

The second suspected reason for chronic electricity and cell-phone sensitivity developing whilst living in a gold-mining town was this: A relatively new “technology” had been developed to make mining gold more economical, in terms of expenditure of money and time, over finding the gold lines underneath the ground. This technique was being used in this town at the time, and was written about in the local paper. It involved the electrifying of the underground to trace the gold. Huge bolts of electricity were sent along underground, their paths would track the gold, and so the mining company had half of their work done. Too bad that houses were built right around the perimeter of the gold-field and the area which was being considered for mining. Incidentally, some of these houses, about the same time, actually collapsed because the earth under them caved in, and one whole street next to the mine was vacated permanently and bought up by the mining company.

Had any consideration been shown as to the effect these massive bolts of electricity might have on the people living above the gold? Was a resource consent used? Were people warned when this might be done?

I suspect “NO” to all of these.

(Another downside to living in this mining town was the cyanide pond not too far away)

I finally abandoned this house – nobody else seemed to want to live there either, and so it was difficult to rent or sell it. I figured the Angels had something else in mind for me, and so I quit the house at a loss, with not a bit of regret. One’s health is more important than property ownership, and if you must abandon your possessions for health’s sake, or peace of mind, or for the further development of mind and soul, then you’d best get on and do it, I thought.

Living Without Vitamins

We are going to have to become a lot more creative and inventive in our healing methods if the government and the ” powers that be”  manage to ban the counter-sales of vitamins and minerals, herbs and homeopathic medicines.

We are told that this is for the benefit of our health, that these things can be dangerous if taken without consultation, that safe dosage may be exceeded, and so we need an intermediary, if we are to use these things at all. This intermediary, a doctor or a qualified health practitioner then will be paid to prescribe for us, sell us expensive equivalents of the relatively cheap herbs and vitamins we use already, and tell us what to do with them.

It is hard to believe that our safety is the main cause of concern  by either the government or the drug companies.

Alcohol and tobacco and party drugs cause more ill health and deaths than do the taking of vitamin and mineral supplements. But we don’t have to go to the doctor or any other accountable body to get prescriptions for these potentially dangerous items.

Comfrey, or “Knit-bone” was banned several years ago. This was a  famous and well-tried healing herb, used from olden times unto the present day. Its name “knit-bone” impies its healing nature, which derives from its high silica content,  its high content of minerals, vitamins, and a cell proliferant which speeds up the growth of new cells in the body, including bone tissue.

Comfrey tea is soothing to the digestion, and because of its high silica, is good for hair, bones and teeth when used as a herbal tea.

We usually add some peppermint or chamomile herb to the tea, as it is fairly tasteless on its own. It puts a wonderful shine to the hair if used as a rinse. (The next best thing to compare to comfrey for hair, bones, teeth and nails is oat-straw tea.)  I used to add comfrey to silverbeet,  so that we could benefit from its nutrients. The alkaline quality of comfrey counteracts the acid from the silverbeet.

Its silica-sliminess makes a fantastic dressing for burns and wounds. I once cured a scald on my child’s arm by placing cooked, cold, wet comfrey dressings continually over the wound. This took about five days or so to heal, but when it did, there was barely a trace of a scar.

An article came out in our New Zealand papers which suggested eating comfrey could cause cancer in pigs. That was the end of it, basically. The herb was taken off the shelves of the health stores, and, furthermore, the plant itself was made illegal here in New Zealand.

I never knew anyone who ate comfrey in quantities. It was unpalatable to eat on its own, so there was never any danger of eating too much of the stuff. I never knew anyone who had “O-Deed” or died from eating comfrey. My opinion is that the green outside skin of a potato would be  more potentially hazardous to the health, as this contains a poison, saponin, which does affect the liver badly, and could contribute to a cancerous condition if you ate enough of it: yet potatoes have not been banned.

The idea of banning potatoes on the grounds that the saponin contained within the green of the skin , known to be a carcenogen, is hazardous to health, is as ridiculous as it was to ban comfrey on the grounds it could cause cancer in pigs.

I doubt that comfrey has accumulative effects of a negative nature. So few people used the herb, but the people I knew who did use it, used it moderately. They were generally  health-conscious people who avoided the use of toxic chemicals and the ingestion of allopathic medecines, and generally were very fit and strong.

I have never found out who engineered the comfrey ban, but I can guess. Comfrey saved us on many an occasion from having to go to a doctor and from using prescriiption medecines.

Drug companies have already successfully won over the rights to produce iodine and gentian violet. These medecines were taken, respectively, off the market in New Zealand at precisecly the same time they were taken off the shelves in Australia, between 5 and 10 years ago. This shows that, even then, drug companies were working globally toward gaining control over pharmaceuticals. The reason that both these medecines were hated by drug companies is that they were cheap and lasted for many a long year, as opposed to the concocted products which drug companies sell for the treatment of the same conditions and for about three times the price.

It is a pity that iodine had to go: apart from preventing infection when painted onto a wound or graze, a weekly daub of a small part of the sole of the foot gave us enough iodine to help our immune systems, keep the endocrine system in balance, prevent thyroid problems, help form healthy teeth, bones, nails, and grow healthy hair.

In the days when I still had iodine to use, I found its effects remarkable in encouraging hair growth.

I found this out after using iodine to treat eczema-like patches on the scalp.  I had allowed this condition to developed mainly because of using milk which I was allergic to. After several weeks, on the spots where I had been dabbing iodine every two or three days, thicker hair began to grow.

Cider vinegar, which you still can buy, is the next best thing in maintaining a healthy scalp and in promoting hair growth. I just rub the neat vinegar into the scalp after washing, which neutralizes the alkaline effect of soap or shampoo, and feeds the scalp with potassium and other mineral salts.

Since the writing of this article several years ago, iodine has been reintroduced, but it is an extremely diluted form, and you have to buy it from the chemist, or drugstore if you live in U.S.A. Previously, you could buy it in supermarkets, and it was, of course, a very cheap option for an iodine source.

The thing which we will probably all feel compelled to do before long, is to grow our own vegetables in soil which we ourselves have enrichened with the nutrients it is lacking. The best way to do this is to collect sea-weed from the beach after a storm and to bury this well underneath the top-soil layer.

Sea-weed is extremely high in iodine, and contains all the other trace elements which we need, and  we therefore need to put this into our soils for our vegetables to be a rich source of these things.

Then, we would have no need for buying iodine or for buying health supplements such as the minerals and vitamins which are now under threat by a change in legislation.

Of course, this will result in a radical change of life-style for all of us: hopefully, more shared, communal gardens will evolve in the cities and towns, with the land mass breaking up into smaller, more manually manageable farm plots being developed to feed and maintain the health of their local communities.

Vibrations: Electricity, Cell Phones and People

Electrical energies, outside ot the natural ones which emanate from the human body, are very often, in my own experience, the cause of many ailments and conditions of ill health.

The body has its own energy circuit, or auric body, of which part is the chakra system which Indian wisdom of old has recognized.  For the body and mind to function well, this chakra system of energy centres needs to be maintained so that energy fows freely throughout without obstruction.

Relaxed breathing, water, food, exercise, and the vibrational impulses of colour, sound, and positive, happy thoughts, all aid in the healthy maintenance of the auric body and its internal chakra or energy systems.

Vibrational healing of many ailments can be achieved by the correct application of colour and sound, aroma and touch, but so, too, can harm be done by excessive exposure to a constant or repetitive theme of a vibrational influence.

The effects of listening to excessively loud and aggressive or discordant music is an obvious example. This has a bad effect on the chakra system and soul body, and the longer and more regularly that one exposes oneself to music of this type, the more inharmoniously will the chakra system function. The nervous system would be affected,  outer symptoms of a restless or aggressive spirit would be displayed, and after time,  physical and mental ill-health would manifest, not to mention partial deafness.

But not so obvious to many people are the effects of long-term exposure to electrical currents and micro-waves on the human body and brain. The constant vibrations which emanate from the electrical wires, cell-phones, transformers and aerials of all sorts which are in and about your home and work-place represent a potential threat to the well-being of you and your family.

These forces are, for the most part, silent, yet their effects are probably more damaging than listening to the loud, discordant and aggressive music of which we spoke earlier. In fact, these disturbing electrical interferences could be the reason the need is felt by many young people for the playing of so much “bad” or inharmonious music in the first place, and for the display of so much bad temper or conditions of depression in some people.

I feel sure that the high level of depression in New Zealand, of obesity, alzheimer’s, and of increasing violence and unrest in the world has a lot to do with the prolific use of cell-phones, cell-phone transmitters sending out their harmful and disturbing rays, and the electrical “wired-up” state of cities and even small towns.

Even animals are starting to behave out of character. In the urban environment, dog attacks are becoming frequent. People may blame the owners for these attacks, but I feel sure that cell-phone radiation and the high frequency of pitch which accompanies cell-phone use, is a major cause for the increasing incidence of aggressive attacks by dogs. Dogs, it is well known, are very sensitive to, and become very unsettled by, higher frequencies of sound.

In the wild, even, animals are behaving unusually: their rapidly diminishing natural environment and the threat of encounters with predatorial humans are the two main causes for this, but all animals, being very sensitive to vibrations and to higher frequencies of vibration than what most humans are capable of hearing, are therefore  equally or more vulnerable than what we are to cell-phone micro-waves and their disorienting effects.

I reckon the cell-phone and its transmission towers to be an incredibly destructive invention. It potentially  poses more of a threat to health than say toxic chemicals or war weaponry, because its energies, like electricity, are a force whose effect we can’t see, which leads to the cell phone and its transmission technology being an accepted and largely unquestioned part of daily life.

The effect of cell-phone radiation is felt world-wide now. There are linking grids everywhere about, and there is almost no escaping their effects.

I know that the cell-phone and the cell-phone transmitter affect me. I have lived near transmitters, and have owned a cell-phone for a year, both of which experiences have given me an insight into cell-phones, transmitters, and their effect on my own body, brain and emotions.
