Rove and Plastics Poisoning
It was certainly great to see Rove back on television last week: this was mid-April 2010, on the ‘Campbell Live Show’,
Channel 3, New Zealand Television.
The plastics issue is an important one, and it was great to see it being discussed on prime-time television. Rove’s wacky sense of humour certainly grabbed the attention of everyone in our household, and would have drawn in many people who may not otherwise have been so interested in the issue of plastics affecting health.
Apart from being treated with his unique brand of Aussie humour, and to see the rapport between Campbell and Rove, we learned something useful from watching this show: we were reminded about the dangers of using plastics for the storage of food, and how we must avoid using
plastic feeders to feed a baby its milk, or at least to avoid micro-waving the plastic bottle with the milk in it.
Milk which has been micro-waved in a plastic baby feeder will have higher amounts of plastics chemicals in it than if it had not been exposed to the micro-wave energy. Micro-waved milk is bad to feed a baby anyhow, as the micro-wave ruins the molecular structure of the protein in the milk, and this renders it harmful to babies in that it creates toxins which put a strain on the liver and could cause cancer and other disease later in the child’s life. Micro-waving milk in a plastic feeding bottle further compounds the matter. Never micro-wave your baby’s milk, and certainly never do it in a plastic feeding bottle.

It was alarming to learn that a thin layer of plastic is used to line the cans of certain foods, such as pineapple: this means that the acid from the pineapple will be leaching chemicals out of the plastic lining the tin.
Over-use of plastic means that petro-chemicals are getting into the food chain.
The toxicologist who appeared on this show spoke about his findings, and emphasized the need to reduce plastic chemicals
in our food and environment. He spoke about how the chemicals from plastics could be causing much ill-health and disease, including depression, infertility, cancer, obesity and senility.
Recently, I posted up two articles on the hazards of wearing false teeth. I have proven to myself, and, I think, to my
family, who have witnessed the decline and eventual rise of my health once the old plastic was replaced, that a plastic
denture becomes very toxic within three years after its creation. After three years, my brain seizes up, I have little
or no memory recall, and the ability to make a fair-judged decision becomes seriously impaired. Digestion is poor,
and my skin breaks out in what has been described both as psoriasis, and eczema.
At this stage, because of the obvious derangement to my whole being, all those unbelievers jump up and down with glee:’
“See? – all this health nonsense is a load of hog-wash”, they say, “She’s got alzheimer’s now, poor thing. Hopeless. She couldn’t write on health to save her life, let alone remember what she had for dinner yesterday.”
By this time, I have realized that the teeth are causing much of my ill-health: unless MAF has been spraying about
toxic chemicals again all over Auckland, I say to myself, then it is probably the teeth plastic which is undermining
my health and nervous system, and causing memory failure.
Well – the cost of new teeth is sometimes prohibitive, but the situation is now dire: it is either fork
out for the new teeth, about $3,000 this time, or go without teeth completely. I have tried the latter move, which
didn’t enhance my work or social prospects one iota. Appearance DOES count for a lot.
Bingo. I get new teeth. Immediately, certain symptoms disappear or become reduced in intensity. My memory improves
immediately, and continues to improve over the next few weeks. I surprise and amaze all the people who thought I was
done for. Hooray – another three years of productivity. Better start saving, this time, for those new teeth.
