Greenpeace Need Donations: An email has just come in from Greenpeace's Kumi Naidoo, who is the International Excecutive Director of Greenpeace. He was here recently to honour the Rainbow Warrior I, which was sunk in Auckland Harbour, New Zealand, by French militants 26 years ago. One man died in this bombing.

New Zealand Herald on Thursday July 14th 2011 used almost the whole page to cover the issue on smoking: Many people have complained that, since smokers are not allowed to smoke inside the buildings where they work anymore, many smokers can be seen on the streets now, outside public places such as the Auckland City central hospital, council chambers, and other places of influence.
The Auckland City Council is considering placing a ban on smoking in the inner city area, and at bus stops. The Auckland District Health Board is considering not employing anyone who smokes.
